The moment Cain spoke those words, his vision wavered. A deafening rumble erupted, loud enough to shake his eardrums.
Yet his gaze remained fixed on the cliff before him as it flinched.
The rock face split apart, forming a perfect square that sank inward, blasting black dust into the air and swallowing his field of view.
Slowly, the massive slab of stone slid aside, revealing a short corridor with an iron door at its far end.
Cain narrowed his eyes as the black dust slammed into his body. He waved his arm, brushing away the particles lingering on his face.
A few seconds later, as the haze dissipated, Cain let out a long breath. His hand tightened around Luna's.
"T-This…?"
Luna murmured softly, her tone low, mixed with curiosity and disbelief.
Standing beside Cain, the four others lined up evenly. Behind their visors, their gazes were steady. It was no longer a secret among them that Cain was still hiding most of his abilities.
