So the title already said it "infinite status points" our main character zero was just assessed to be a Black rank adventurer in a world full of monsters, beast folk, and the thing people wished for the most magic, here in this world Power is the source of magic that lets mergers cast spells.
Since the author already said what just happened, I'm just gonna tell the story. I'm zero, and I have the Blessing? Gift? Of infinite status points.
When i merged with my blessing at the age of 16, which is the coming of age in this world. I discovered that my blessing was infinite status points, and if you ask what i mean by merge its where orbs of magic choose it's host, these orbs give blessings to host, and for the power scaling. Green is more common than the other orbs, Blue is rarer than green, and Yellow being the rarest of the orbs. These orbs are formed when the magical tree of a region called the "Tree of blessings" absorbs way too much "Power" and needs to release it.
So continuing on the story after i was assessed by the grand judge i was then given the title of Black rank and now i can partake in more quests in the dungeon floors since guilds have their own quest boards on each floor of the dungeon but the only restriction is your rank because White rank only lets you go down a fifty floors down the dungeon, Grey rank lets you go through three hundred floors, and Black rank being the highest rank anyone can achive has access to every floor in the dungeon, but even if though rank is high your strength and combat experience will still matter thats why not a lot of adventurers have been promoted to Black rank much less get promoted from White rank. Despite all of this a lot of adventurers work hard for themselves and their families to sustain a living.
Though there are alternatives like being a knight, teacher, doctor, and etc. but people prefer to be adventurers as they think this is a quicker way to earn money, and if they do die in the dungeon, the Kingdom will offer their families with support that's worth up to two months. But if that doesn't happen these families are forced to find alternatives.
But again continuing the story, before i go to the dungeon. I first go to specific shops to buy my rations to use inside the dungeon like Ingredients for Meals, Potions, and possibly an upgrade to my Grimoire as i chose to be a melee mage, and before you get confused melee mages still need Grimoires for the alternative fighting style. Although there are are other jobs as an adventurer like being an actual mage or a swordsman, but. Even so i chose to be both.
So while the author was thinking this through he was saying that the first chapter had to be detailed and yes im breaking the fourth wall and im doing it now.
So in the floors the first fifty floors of the dungeon you will be facing off against monsters like [Slimes lvl10-lvl15], [Zombies lvl10-lvl30], [Goblins lvl10-lvl40], and [Orcs lvl20-lvl60], in the three hundred floors you'll start to see [Hobgoblins lvl50-lvl70], [Werewolves lvl70-lvl100] and [Liches lvl90-lvl150], and for the rest of the dungeon floors would be monsters over the levels 100-500 like dragons or bosses that i haven't discovered yet because i just ranked up.
I guess thats it for this chapter though I'd still be doing a lot of explaining on the second chapter but atleast you the readers have knowledge of a few things in this world.
