George grabbed both David and Renia by hand, dragging them gently towards David's house. "Hey George, wait for a bit. We don't to rush you know. The house is not going anywhere." Renia said while been dragged.
"I know. But I want to see his child as soon as possible. Come you both move quickly." Said George while speeding.
[After some minutes]
"Phew! We finally reached here. Come on you two, let's head inside." George said while looking behind his exhausted friend and his wife who were grabbing their knees.
"[Huff] [huff] wait for a sec George. Don't rush. Let us catch our breathe" said both Renia and David, huffing while trying to catch their breath.
George looked at those two and apologize for being too excited and dragging them without thinking. Then the three of them head inside.
Lisa was sitting on the bed after feeding her child when she notice David and other two.
"Huh? What are you doing here David? Weren't you going hunting an- wait, what are you two doing here Renia and George?" She says while patting her child 's back.
"Well, we wanted to help you feel better and share your pain if you fell down after giving birth, so we rushed here but
We never thought that you'd give birth to a healthy child. Congratulations, we are happy for you both."
"Thanks you guys. It means a lot for us. And honestly, we were very surprised too. Now we don't have to keep wishing and praying for a child."
Lisa said with a gentle smile on her face. Lisa and David both were to have a child and the support of their only friends but there was still a thing that bugging them.
As they were talking, Lisa's gentle smile soon turned into sadness. David asked her if she is fine or not but she didn't reply. Instead she held her child tightly as she says "we now have a healthy child and with a rare appearance at that, but I am worried about what will happen when the other villagers find out about him."
"That's a thing to concern about, but don't worry, no matter what other says, we will always support you. And beside you finally have a child you dreamt about for so long and with a rare appearance at that. Don't waste your time on thinking about those useless people." We won't let them find about this child." George says with dedication to protect her friend and her child.
Lisa's sadness turned into happiness by her friend's words. "Thanks David. That means a lot for me. No matter what other says, I will spend my entire life to raise this child."
While they were talking David remembered something " oh man, we talked a lot that we forgot to go hunting. It's already noon. Hey, Gorgre let's hurry otherwise we won't find anything." After saying that David dragged George to the forest.
"Be safe you to and good luck for hunting." Renia said from outside of the house.
" Don't worry about us and please take care of Lisa. Hey David you don't have to drag me, I can walk myself." And while saying that, they both got out of sight in the forest.
Then Renia went inside, sit beside Lisa [sighing] " they are as hasty as ever aren't they." She says, looking at Lisa.
"Yeah, they are lively as usual. I just hope they return safe." Lisa replied as she make a worried face.
"Don't worry, they will come back soon safely, I mean they have to come safely to celebrate right?. And you haven't given a name to this child, right? So they have to come back safely. You know what I mean." Renia panicky says to cheer up her friend.
Looking at her friend who is trying to cheer up her so desperately, Lisa felt a warm sensation. She giggle as she says, "you are still as same as ever, trying to cheer me up so desperately even though you are not good at that. But thanks, that made me happy."
Renia also felt happy seeing her effort paid off.
They both start talking about the baby's future, name and many other things without knowing that the is a very big problem lurking deep inside the forest very close from the place were David and George are hunting.
