General Zaeil and his family enter their manor. "Elyyana, Xavier, its too late now. Time for sleep". said Madam Qinan to the twins. They nod and kiss Madam Qinan's cheek. "Good night mommy, good night Daddy". said them and run to their bedroom. "Good night also mommy and daddy". said Lian Evelyn and walking towards her bedroom. "Evelyn wait a minute". ask her dad which make Lian Evelyn turn back to him. "come back, I have something to say". ask her dad again.
Lian Evelyn nod and sit on chair beside him. "whats wrong Daddy?" ask her. General Lian Zaeil sigh. " you know, I really don't like you offer yourself to dance just now at castle". said him. Lian Evelyn make upset face. "why? Im willing to. Everyone also praise me". replay her. General Lian Zaeil's face turn serious. "its not simple as you think Evelyn. Yes, im proud see you brave enough to face problem but…" He look at Lian Evelyn's eyes. "maybe it will harm you in future". Lian Evelyn make flustured face. "I don't understand daddy, how can it be. I just dance. If something will hapend it should be good things not bad one". replay her. "that's the point. You show talents in public and everyone praise it. Even the Emperor. And someone must be jealous at you". Lian Evelyn pout grumpy hear that. "then what you want me to do? Hide my talent? You cant be serious." she cross her arm and look away. I'm not saying that you need hide your talents. But I just scared you will face problems in future because of this". Explain her dad. That's why I did that". said her while look down. General Lian Zaeil smile cause his daughter finally understand his words. Furthermore, I appreciate your good sincere but I just want you prepare yourself if something happend in the future". said his dad again. Lian Evelyn nod. "thanks Daddy for the reminder. don't worry. If something happend I will handle it wisely". said her proudly. General Lian Zaeil chuckle hearing that. "okay okay. Enough for tonight. You need go sleep now". said him and pat his daughter head. Lian Evelyn nod and walk towards her bedroom.
Tomorrow morning
Lian Evelyn's family are having breakfast at dining table meanwhile Lian Evelyn still in bedroom choosing outfit. "miss enough already, you already try four outfit and its all stunning. Why you still want try another outfit". said Xiou Yun, she sick enough seeing Lian Evelyn try varity of outfit but Lian Evelyn still cant find the outfit which make her feel satiesfied. Lian Evelyn ignore her maid's words and ccontinue try another clothes. "ishhh miss! Your family are waiting you for having breakfast together. You cant be late, its against the rules". complain Xiou Yun again. Lian Evelyn sigh. "today I will go to castle to collect my gift. I need look stunning. If people see im not wear good clothes. They will badmouthing me. its will bring disgrace to my family". explain Lian Evelyn and continue try another outfit. Xiou Yun pout grumpy. " even so, you cant let elders waiting for you". complain her again. Lian Evelyn roll her eyes. "fine fine i'm not try another outfit anymore. Hurry and do my hair". said Lian Evelyn who tired hear Xiou Yun's complain. Xiou Yun finally smile and quickly do Lian Evelyn's hair. She looks absulutely stunning. Then, they both walk towards dining table.
"As Lian Evelyn stepped into the grand dining hall, the rustle of her silk robes echoed softly against the polished marble floor. With grace etched into every movement, she approached the long, lacquered table where her parents were already seated. Pausing a few steps away, she lowered her gaze, bent at the waist, and offered a deep, respectful bow.
'Father, Mother,' she said gently, her voice like morning dew, 'may I join you?'
Only after her father gave a slight nod did she lift her head and move toward her seat, every motion guided by the etiquette drilled into her since childhood.
"Dear, why you late". ask Madam Qinan as put dish in Lian Evelyn's plate. "sorry mommy and daddy. I didn't mean to make both of you wait for me. I was late cause I try lots of outfit. I want find the best one for go to castle". explain Lian Evelyn and start eating. General Lian Zaeil nod understand. "okay, but next time don't do it again". said him. Lian Evelyn nod. "ohh you"re going for collect your gift right?". ask her mom. "yes mommy. I cant wait for collect it. Its must expensive gift since its come from castle". Madam Qinan shake her head. " you little greedy one". complain her mom. "Lian Evelyn make pouty face. "ishh mommy, you cant say that at your precious daughter. Also all things need money". said her stubbornly. Madam Qinan chuckle. "yes mommy, all thing need money. Its right thing if sister greedy". back-up Lian Xavier. Lian Elyyana also nod and added . "I agree mommy. If we don't have something precious. People will look down at us. For once, her younger siblings actually agreed with her. Lian Evelyn's eyes lit up with surprise, then delight. With a playful grin tugging at her lips, she lifted her hand.
'High-five?' she offered, half-laughing. To her amazement, both of them slapped her palm enthusiastically. The sharp smack of their hands meeting echoed across the dining table.
"Finally, someone sees it my way", Evelyn beamed. General Lian Zaeil and Madam Qinan shake their head seeing their's children behaviour. "your guys really something".mumbling General Lian Zaeil. "fine fine, as long as you not make any trouble at castle". said Madam Qinan which make Lian Evelyn pouting her lips. "im a good girl!". said her proudly. General Lian Zaeil raise his eyebrown. "Really? Then who was climbing the back house's wall hmm?". smirk him which make Lian Evelyn pouting even more. "ishhh let the past be the past. Also you not telling me you return back home". General Lian Zaeil staring at her. " I want surprise you. But lucky im not telling you. If I did, I'm not be able to see you naughty and stubborn behavior". smirk him again. "ishh daddy!…". she wants say something but her mom cut her off . " okay enough dear. Its not good debate at dining table". said her mom. Lian Evelyn make sad face. "mommy, daddy bring it up. I already say sorry". whining her with sad voice. Madam Qinan pat her head. "its okay don't be sad dear. You're not wrong anymore". Madam Qinan turning to her husband and slap his hand. "why you bring it up. She already sorry. Even if she make mistake. You cant be so harsh at her. She is a girl". mad Madam Qinan at her husband. General Lian Zaeil rub his hand where his wife slap. "love, I just joking. I did'nt mean anything". explain him but Madam Qinan ignore him and gently rub Lian Evelyn. "Don't worry," she said calmly. "I'm here. Nobody can scold you while I'm around". Lian Evelyn continue pouting grumpy . "daddy seems like you need sleep outside". laugh Lian Xavier. "shut up. If I need sleep outside I will bring you sleep outside with me". Threaten him. Lian Xavier quickly cover his mouth with his hand. "dear, I just joking. Forgive me okay". soothe his dad but Lian Evelyn look away and cross her arm. Madam Qinan give death stare at him which make him trembling. "aaaa how about this, I will take you buy new outfit. How it is sound". trick him. Lian Evelyn finally look at him. "okay, forgive you". said her and continue eating. General Lian Zaeil breathed a sigh of relief and put dish on Madam Qinan's plate. "Love, Evelyn not sad anymore. I want buy candy!" said Lian Elyyana excitedly. General Lian Zaeil smile. "okay okay next week. I will bring all our family buy new outfit, and candy for my little baby ". said him make the twins smile and claps their hand happily. Then they resumed their meal with smiles and light laughter the earlier tension completely gone.
