Chapter 5 - Chapter 6: The Portal of the Sea

The storm raged over Arlong Park as thunder cracked above.

The Straw Hat crew charged through the shattered gates, water splashing around their feet.

Dozens of fishmen blocked the way, snarling with gills flaring.

At the center of the chaos stood Arlong, his jaws wide with a shark's grin.

"You dare step into my domain, humans?" he growled.

Luffy's eyes burned with rage. "You made Nami cry… and for that, you're done!"

Behind him stood Zoro, Sanji, Usopp and Shiro, his hand resting on his sword.

Rain poured down his face as he whispered, "Nami… I won't let him hurt you anymore."

The Battle Begins

The Straw Hats split up.

Zoro clashed with Hachi, the six-sword fishman.

Sanji fought Kuroobi, trading fierce underwater blows.

Luffy stormed through the courtyard, shouting Nami's name.

But even as they fought, Arlong's laughter echoed through the ruins.

"You think you can beat me? You're insects in my ocean!"

Shiro gritted his teeth. "Not if I change the tides."

He opened his inventory a faint, glowing screen only he could see.

Inside, dozens of Blox Fruit orbs shimmered, each one from his old world.

His eyes landed on one glowing violet the Portal Fruit.

He remembered nights of gaming, teleporting across maps, outsmarting opponents in PvP.

That fruit had always been his favorite.

> "Portal Fruit… my best weapon back then"

Without hesitation, he bit into it.

Awakening of the Portal Power

The taste was awful bitter, like burning salt and metal but the moment he swallowed, power surged through him.

Light-blue energy spiraled around his body, and glowing circles formed in the air.

Wind whipped outward as his eyes flared bright violet.

Zoro shouted over the storm, "What the hell !?"

Nami, watching from above, gasped. "Shiro… what did you do?"

He raised his hand and a portal burst open in front of him, swirling like liquid glass.

He stepped forward and vanished.

The Teleporting Swordsman

Arlong roared and swung his massive saw-blade sword, but Shiro appeared behind him in a flash.

> Slash!

A deep cut sliced across Arlong's shoulder.

"Wha?! Where did you come from?!" Arlong shouted.

Shiro smirked. "Right behind you. Always have been."

He vanished again, appearing midair above the fishmen slicing downward through another glowing gate.

Each teleport left a burst of wind that sent enemies flying.

Luffy laughed mid-battle. "Shiro, that's awesome!"

Zoro grinned. "He's even faster than me."

The fishmen panicked as portals began opening all over the battlefield beams of light and blades flashing through the rain.

Nami's Hope

From the balcony, Nami watched the chaos below, tears mixing with the rain.

Every time Shiro reappeared, his movements reflected the same rhythm she'd seen in her dreams confident, fearless, untouchable.

"He's fighting… for me."

When their eyes met, her heart skipped.

He gave her a small, reassuring nod before vanishing again into another portal.

Arlong howled in rage, leaping toward her balcony but Shiro intercepted, teleporting right in front of him.

"Don't touch her!" he shouted, his sword glowing with blue energy.

He slashed, creating a massive ring-shaped portal that swallowed Arlong whole then spat him out through the air, slamming him into the stone courtyard below.

The ground cracked as the great shark-man hit the earth.

The Fall of Arlong Park

The storm began to fade as silence filled the air.

Arlong tried to stand, shaking, blood running from his wounds.

"You… human… what are you?"

Shiro lowered his sword, breathing hard. "A gamer. And a pirate."

With one final swing, he opened a huge portal beneath Arlong and when it closed, the Fishman was gone.

The villagers cheered, and the walls of Arlong Park finally collapsed.

After the Storm

When the battle ended, the rain stopped, and sunlight touched the ruins.

Nami walked slowly toward Shiro. Her orange hair clung to her face, and her eyes glimmered.

"Thank you… Shiro."

He smiled faintly. "Guess I finally used my favorite fruit for something real."

She laughed softly. "You looked like you were flying. It was… beautiful."

He shrugged. "All I did was move through space."

Nami took his hand, squeezing it gently.

"No. You moved my heart, too."

Shiro blinked, surprised then smiled, cheeks turning slightly red.

Luffy yelled from behind them, grinning wildly. "Oi! Lovebirds! Let's go celebrate!"

Everyone laughed and for the first time in a long while, Nami's tears were of happiness.

Epilogue: Toward New Horizons

As the Straw Hats sailed away from Cocoyasi Village, the sea sparkled under the morning light.

Nami stood at the helm, and Shiro leaned beside her.

"You think that Portal Fruit will help us reach the Grand Line faster?" she asked.

He smiled. "You give me the map, I'll make the shortcut."

They both laughed as the Going Merry sailed into the open blue, ready for their next great adventure.
