Kasi Namikaze woke to the sound of quiet breathing.
He opened his eyes slowly.
"Where… am I?"
His voice came out weak.
He tried to move.
His body responded slowly, muscles stiff and heavy, as if they hadn't been used in years. There was no pain only resistance, like walking against water in the river.
He sat up slowly.
Just a thin hospital gown draped over his body.
The room around him was empty but clean. no flowers. just chairs. Someone had ensured it stayed orderly.
Kasi rested his feet on the floor. They trembled slightly under his weight. He steadied himself and exhaled.
How long….....He closed his eyes and instinctively circulated chakra through his body.
Warmth surged through his tenketsu, smooth and unobstructed. His chakra flowed cleanly through every pathway—no stagnation, no turbulence, no imbalance.
That alone was wrong. After years of inactivity, his chakra should have been chaotic. Knotted. Diminished.Instead—Kasi's breath caught.
He felt his reserve.Layer after layer, deeper than before. Denser. Too Vast than before.
He focused, measuring instinctively.
It wasn't just stable.
It was enormous.
At least ten times what it had been.
Impossible.
Before the coma, his reserves had already reached mid-Kage level—pushed to the limit through training, combat, and refinement. Growth beyond that took decades, bloodlines, or some other methods.
kasi was suddenly hit by lots of foreign memories. his head was aching he nearly passsed out.
Nearly after 2 hours kasi was able to stablize himself calm himself a little.
then kasi checked the calender to know the date
"…Eight years," he whispered.
Minato-nii standing in front of him, cloak glowing.
Kushina shouting.
Kasi running toward them—
Then nothing.
He inhaled sharply.
"Minato-nii… Kushina-nee…"
He rose and walked to the window, movements stiff but more controlled then before.
Outside, the village looked different little different than he remembered. Children laughed and running. Streets had shifted. Buildings stood where open ground should have been.
Eight years since the Nine-Tails attack.
If eight years had passed, then—
Minato.
Kushina.
kasi knew the answer but he wanted to just confirm things there was still a bit of hope in his heart.
"Shadow Clone jutsu."
A clone appeared beside him instantly, and layed in the bed just like before.
"You stay here," Kasi said quietly.
He stepped into the hallway with transformation jutsu on. Nurses glanced at him briefly but said nothing.
Outside, the Hokage Monument stood tall.
The Fourth's face—Minato's face—was carved into stone.
Kasi stopped.
His chest tightened with pain but thinking about his brother but still wanted to confirm if the memories he saw were just illusion. ( kasi knew in his heart it was to detailed to be illusion but still he need to check)
