How are you doing? I hope you are well.
Sorry if sometimes I am late in uploading chapters, or if I don't reply to comments or reviews. Lately, I have been very busy, but I would like to be more active in the comments.
However, I want to be honest with you. I don't know if this happens to other writers here or just to me, but sometimes I don't want to look at the comments section. I have a fear, or something similar, of reading bad comments or harsh criticism.
I know that any criticism is valid, but when someone leaves a bad review or says they don't like the chapter, it makes me a bit sad. This is not emotional blackmail to get you to change your reviews and say positive things. If you don't like something, please say so, and I will work on it. I only ask for some tact and no insults towards me personally.
Basically, the reason I've been busy is my job. When I get home, all I want to do is relax, play video games, eat, or read.
I love reading. Currently, I am reading "The Wheel of Time," and I plan to read all 15 books throughout the coming year. Maybe I'll finish sooner and read another saga like "Mistborn," "The Stormlight Archive," etc. I don't know. I've also heard that "Malazan" is good. If you have any book recommendations, leave them here.
Novel Status
Better Call Kisuke (Bleach x DC): I am very happy because I finally finished one. I finished the drafts for "Better Call Kisuke." That fic is the one I started writing with; it was my first fanfic. I started it, paused it, and finally finished it.
I finished the drafts at chapter 75, but it felt a bit rushed. So maybe I'll write a little more, although I'm not sure yet, as I think the ending it has is very good. I personally like it.
Archive (Timothy Hunter x Harry Potter): Originally, I planned for Timothy to go to Hogwarts at the age of 11, like in canon. But when I wrote the fic, I aged him up, and in doing so, I didn't know how to implement the whole saga I wanted to write for Timothy.
Originally, I thought it would be only about 30 or 40 chapters at Hogwarts and then leaving the castle. But more and more ideas came to me, and Hogwarts ended up around chapter 80 or so. I didn't know how to continue it. I wrote about 40 more chapters after those (from volume 2), but I didn't like how it turned out at all, so I think I will scrap it.
I will only say that the plot took place in the Triwizard Tournament, or in my version, the "Intercontinental Wizarding Tournament" with 11 schools. So, when those chapters arrive on both Patreon and Webnovel, it will be put on indefinite hiatus until I have more inspiration for that fic.
DxD: Canis Lykaon: What can I tell you? It started as pure NSFW, and now in the last chapters I wrote, Lykaon is a more complex and complete character. I love that fic, both for the character and because I really like writing NSFW. It is my gift and my curse.
I have dozens, if not hundreds, of NSFW chapters for both Lykaon and other fics (Futa, Harem, Femboy). Maybe I will publish them in an extra collection or maybe not, I don't know.
The DxD fic will also be paused, but only when Lykaon reaches canon. There is still a long way to go for that. I have drafts up to chapter 70, and I think there is still much to explore, both in the devil civil war, more encounters, battles, etc. If you want a specific encounter, let me know, and maybe I'll find a way to do it.
Beats & Billions: Wow. Simply wow.
That fic is receiving a lot of support, and I truly appreciate it. I was very inspired by similar fics where the protagonist reincarnates in another world and recreates famous songs, but I wanted to give it my touch. That type of fic usually focuses a lot on pop or mainstream music. I wanted to focus more on hip hop, rap, trap, and sad trap, since I really like listening to that type of music.
For that fic, I have drafts up to chapter 93 as of today, December 30th. All the draft data is from this day. I never get tired of that fic; I could be doing it all day, every day.
I don't want the protagonist to be just an artist. I want him to revolutionize the genre in that stagnant world where all genres evolved except rap. I have ideas, plots, and collaborations for 1000 chapters, but I don't know if I want to make so many chapters for that fic.
I will give you a distant, very distant spoiler, and you try to connect the dots: "Spider Man." I will only say that.
Oh, and one more important thing about the romantic plot: I will soon be holding another poll to decide Michael's definitive partner. The final partner will be decided between Milly Alcock, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish. Stay tuned, because whoever wins that poll will be the chosen one.
Questions and Stones
I would like to clarify any doubts, questions, or curiosities you have about the stories (obviously without giving spoilers). So you can leave your question here, and I will gladly answer it.
There is also the issue of Power Stones. I really don't usually ask for them. They do motivate me to keep writing and publishing, but I don't want to be annoying and ask for them all the time. Even if I don't have much support, my fics will continue to be published because it is my hobby, and I really like writing.
So if you see another author asking for stones to publish more often or having stone goals (which I don't have for now, maybe in a couple of weeks), give them to him. Aside from being an author, I am also a reader, and I understand that.
