"The Dragon Vein definitely isn't some existence possessing infinite chakra."
Masahiko unsealed a portion of the sealing formula on the altar containing the Dragon Vein. He reached his hands inside and personally felt the Dragon Vein's chakra. Although it was massive—about four or five times his own—it still couldn't compare to the Great Toad Sage's chakra volume.
"It's probably considered 'infinite chakra' because it recovers extremely fast," Masahiko nodded, then frowned.
"Just this alone shouldn't make time travel possible. Otherwise, wouldn't I be able to send anyone anywhere once my Yang Attribute hits Level 10?" Masahiko shook his head, feeling he must have missed something.
"Speaking of which, this Dragon Vein feels more like a Summoning Beast sealed here—one without a physical body, possessing only a massive amount of chakra and an astonishing recovery speed."
"What would happen if the seal were broken?" Masahiko muttered but didn't act immediately. He wanted to wait until he saw Naruto before considering these things.
Masahiko looked outside the door. Anrokuzan's chakra reaction was gone; he was probably busy "mass-producing soldiers." Masahiko didn't care much about that.
"Hiruzen was exaggerating, saying this could threaten the Land of Whirlpools. Against these puppet soldiers, I could fight a hundred million of them." Masahiko shook his head, preparing to go out and wait for Minato and Naruto to have their father-son bonding moment before "suddenly jumping out."
However, before Masahiko could leave the room, the red-haired girl walked in again, her large, watery eyes fixed on him.
Masahiko smiled bitterly. "I really am not your father, why do you..."
Halfway through his sentence, the girl interrupted him and, without a word of warning, started singing.
"If the rain on that day had stopped..." (Hundreds of words omitted here).
The singing voice was crisp, but it ended with the girl sobbing.
"Hmm, not bad. Keep working hard," Masahiko responded randomly. Sensing slightly, he used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished from the spot.
The girl's sobbing paused for a moment...
A few seconds later, Masahiko appeared in front of Anrokuzan.
"You... how did you get here?!" All the puppets were controlled by Anrokuzan, acting as his eyes, yet he hadn't detected Masahiko's arrival at all.
Looking at the vigilant figure opposite him, Masahiko smiled. "Take a guess?"
"I..." Just as he opened his mouth, his gaze went blank; he was caught in Masahiko's Genjutsu.
"Now, we enter the 'I ask, you answer' segment." Masahiko had some things that needed explaining.
"Question one: Which era are you from?" Masahiko couldn't remember the exact timeline of this movie.
"Sand Era year 62."
"Oh, so that would be Konoha Year 63," Masahiko nodded. "Question two: How did you achieve time travel?"
"I absorbed the sealing formula Minato Namikaze placed on the Dragon Vein more than twenty years ago into my body, along with the power of the Dragon Vein."
"Is that so?" Masahiko frowned.
"Question three: Why did you choose to swallow the sealing formula directly instead of slowly unravelling it?"
"Konoha ninjas were chasing me."
Masahiko breathed a sigh of relief. "Then, question four..."
Thud!
Before Masahiko could ask the fourth question, Anrokuzan opposite him planted face-first onto the ground, fainting.
"Can't hold on so soon? And you want to control puppets to fight the Five Great Nations like this?" Masahiko shook his head helplessly. He didn't care much; he had already asked what he wanted to know. The rest could wait until the Konoha ninjas arrived. Hopefully, it would be Naruto.
"Konoha Year 63. The method of travel involves sealing Minato's sealing formula together with the Dragon Vein's power."
"Minato should be using the Flying Thunder God formula to seal the Dragon Vein. Afterwards, it was likely a coincidence that achieved the time travel effect. In that case, I might be able to..." Masahiko suddenly got interested in going back to the past.

"Wait, Elder Masahiko. You arrived two days early. Can you tell us about the situation in this country? And why are you wanted by them..." Minato hurriedly stopped him.
"The situation in this country... is a bit complicated. Good luck to you guys. After all, it's an S-rank mission; I won't disturb you." Masahiko dropped a sentence and decisively drilled back into the earth. If he sealed the Dragon Vein now, heaven knows where Naruto would end up.
