This world was once one. Sky, earth, light, and darkness were united under the command of the creator, SabdaJagat, the creator's voice that brought everything to life. But darkness refused to submit to him. Arrogant and greedy, it refused to be a shadow beneath the light. It envied the radiance that found favor in the creator's eyes, the voice that should be worshipped by every prayer of his creatures. It refused to submit. From the depths of silence, darkness transformed into a terrifying form. It started a war; light and shadow fought in silence, resulting in a collision that shattered the universe into three worlds, later known by creatures as Bumantara, Gantara, and Naraka.
Bumantara is a world at the edge of the sky, a magnificent land above the clouds. There dwell the winged humans, creatures who inherited the light. They live by strong rules, a perfection they believe in. Perfection of body and soul, born with a pair of magnificent wings, symbols of their greatness and power. Yet, behind that splendor, Bumantara hides a bitter truth. Beneath the majesty of the sky dwellers, there is a belief that only they are perfect and worthy of being called descendants of pure light. That belief slowly turned into arrogance, making them look down upon all forms of imperfection. Other creatures are considered blemishes. One of these is the earth creatures, who are considered light that failed to become bright.
Under the magnificent sky they inhabit, earth creatures live. Gantara, the world of nations living on earth, where land, water, and air merge in a fragile balance. Here live creatures considered lowly. However, these lowly creatures possess a great power not shared by others: will. Earth creatures are indeed not perfect entities, but their desires become their primary weapon. These desires help them live and grow. Building civilizations, eradicating ignorance, and creating wonders. Their prayers and belief in the creator transform into an unexpected power—"mantra," the greatest power of Gantara's inhabitants. Especially humans, from belief arising from the heart and expressed through words, they subdue the laws of the world. Sabda Jagat, which becomes the primary source of power, is combined with science and wonders. Over time, they developed their mantras, giving birth to progress. Mantra-Tech, a modern marvel discovery, combines mantra and knowledge.
Humans never forgot their prayers and incantations. They still prostrated themselves before the Creator, still recited the Word of the Universe in life. However, their prayers now pierced the heavens, touching things that should not be awakened. In their belief to understand the meaning of creation, humans began to dig too deep. They sought the source of the sound itself, the root of all incantations. Then the earth began to tremble. The echo of human prayers, too strong, broke through boundaries, spreading far beyond the heavens. Its vibrations passed through clouds, pierced stars, reaching the darkest space at the edge of the universe. There, beyond the reach of light and time, something began to breathe again. In that silent void lay hidden the third world, Naraka, where all prayers uttered without balance turned into curses. And in the midst of that eternal darkness, a terrifying figure slowly opened its eyes. In silence, it listened again to the sound of humans unknowingly calling it, while the ancient hunger within it reawakened.
For that creature, everything alive was light, and light was food. It was born from shadows, from a formless space that could only exist when light shone elsewhere. As long as light still shone, it would never be whole. Thus, its greatest hunger was not for blood or souls, but for light itself. It devoured every spark of energy born from prayer, every ember of faith burning in the hearts of living beings, and every star's flame that shone too long in the sky.
But the Cosmic Word did not remain silent.
When darkness reopened its eyes, the creator's voice echoed once more. No nation, no world escaped that call. The sky shook, the sea boiled, and the fires at the earth's core trembled as if realizing something far greater was awakening. A sign was sent to all corners of the universe, a warning for the cosmos to prepare.
