Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The World Destroyer Bows

As chaos engulfed Impel Down's lower floors, the clamor and screams rising from Levels Four through Six shook the entire prison.

Hannyabal finally burst onto the scene, leading a column of Marines, Blugori, and jailer beasts.

The moment the Marines laid eyes on the raging inferno of battle—prisoners rioting, blood pooling across the floors, and flames licking the walls—their faces twisted in pure fear.

These were no ordinary criminals.

Every prisoner in Levels Four through Six was a monster—murderers, tyrants, and demons of the sea whose power once shook the world.

"Aiyaaah! The situation has completely spiraled out of control!" Hannyabal shouted, flailing his arms dramatically. Yet behind his feigned panic, a greedy spark danced in his eyes.

"Vice Warden! What should we do now?" the Marines shouted anxiously.

"What else? Charge in and suppress the criminals! Return those damned pirates to their cells!" Hannyabal declared, striking a pose of righteous fury.

Of course, he knew full well he couldn't control this madness. But appearances were everything.

If things went horribly wrong, he could simply shift the blame onto Magellan. And if the chaos toppled the current warden's authority…

Then the throne of Impel Down would finally be his.

Realizing how brilliant his plan was, Hannyabal nearly teared up from pride.

Hehehehe… "Yes, Vice Warden!"

The Marines raised their weapons and rushed into battle.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Gunfire and explosions shook the burning corridors. Blugori roared as they charged, their massive claws rending through anyone too slow to move.

Marines and pirates screamed alike—the sound echoing through the furnace of the Blazing Hell.

Impel Down had become a true inferno.

"These pirates are terrifying when they fight for their lives… No, no, no— I should faint now and avoid responsibility entirely," Hannyabal muttered to himself, already imagining his "tragic" report later.

"Wahalalalala! Momo—Fifty Times Acceleration!"

BOOOOM!

A deafening explosion swallowed half the battlefield as a rocket, boosted fiftyfold, detonated in the middle of the Marine ranks.

A black mushroom cloud bloomed upward, smoke curling through the crimson haze.

"Wahalalalala! Marines these days are so weak!" Bundy Waldo roared with laughter.

Years of rage poured out of him all at once. Locked away, humiliated, forgotten—this was his grand release.

And the "World Destroyer" didn't plan to hold back.

If he couldn't unleash everything now, then he no longer deserved his title.

"Crap—Level Six really has fallen! Even the World Destroyer himself escaped… Mother of—!"

Hannyabal's voice broke. His eyes nearly bulged from his skull.

Because Waldo wasn't alone.

The monsters of Level Six had all arrived.

Former Warlord Crocodile.

Former Head Jailer Shiryu of the Rain.

The Evil King Avalo Pizarro.

Crescent Moon Hunter Catarina Devon.

Each name carried nightmares in its wake.

Just imagining these devils loose upon the world made Hannyabal tremble so hard his knees nearly gave out.

"Aiyaaah… so noisy I can't even enjoy my cigar," Crocodile muttered.

With a flick of his wrist, he raised his right hand.

A raging sandstorm exploded outward.

BOOOOOM!!!

The swirling storm tore through the battlefield like a beast freed from its cage.

Marines, pirates, guards—it didn't matter. The storm devoured them all. Within moments, the screams had stopped, swallowed by howling wind and the hiss of sand.

"The power of a Logia fruit really is envy-inducing," Shiryu murmured, his gaze dark with desire.

Logia fruits—called the strongest of all Devil Fruits—were coveted even among the monsters of Level Six. Too bad that power couldn't be stolen, only inherited by fate.

"Shiryu, you've chosen to side with these filthy pirates?"

A cold, commanding voice echoed across the burning chamber.

Magellan had arrived.

Behind him marched Domino, Sadi-chan, and legions of guards, Blugori, and jailer beasts.

"Magellan," Shiryu said with a mocking grin, "you're still as naïve as ever. Did you forget? I'm a prisoner too. Cooperating with them is just logic."

"You know why you were locked in Level Six," Magellan said, his voice hard. "Out of respect for our past, if you help me suppress them now, I'll overlook everything."

As his anger grew, purple venom began dripping from his body, sizzling as it hit the floor.

The scorching heat of Level Four vaporized it instantly, filling the air with a choking cloud of poison.

"Tch… what a troublesome ability," Shiryu muttered, frowning.

He knew better than anyone how lethal Magellan's Doku Doku no Mi could be. In this sealed, furnace-like environment, its power was monstrous.

Even the other pirates hesitated.

To them, Magellan wasn't a warden anymore—he was a mountain standing between them and freedom.

Unless they crushed him, they'd rot in this prison until death.

"So that's your answer, Shiryu?" Magellan's tone darkened.

Poison surged from his body in torrents.

The Marines instinctively retreated. They knew the truth: when Magellan went all out, friend or foe didn't matter.

"You scum of the sea belong in hell," Magellan declared.

"If you wish to rebel, then in the name of justice, I will pass judgment!"

Behind him, poison writhed and twisted into the forms of three enormous serpents.

"Venomous Dragon!"

"One-Sword Style — Bloodrage Tidal Slash!!"

Shiryu's crimson arc met the three dragons head-on.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion shook the entire level. Poison splattered across the ground, instantly dissolving anything it touched.

Screams rang out as some pirates failed to dodge—their flesh melted, their bones turning black before disintegrating into smoke.

Venom hissed on the ground, vaporizing under the heat. The rising fog turned thick, heavy, deadly.

Every breath burned the lungs, numbing limbs and sapping strength.

"With a fruit like that… and an environment like this…" one pirate muttered hoarsely. "No wonder they call him the strongest warden in history."

The others said nothing, but their faces told the same truth.

Here—on his level, in his domain—Magellan was invincible.

The poison fog grew denser.

The air thickened with death.

And as the purple mist coiled through the flames, one thought struck them all at once—

If hell had a king, his name was Magellan.
