8 years old Laim forced himself to keep walking forward;he didn't know where he was going and he didn't care. He looked thin and skinny. Wearing a baby shark sweater that made the heat even more unbearable and a blue shorts.
In two suns in the sky seemed to ingnore his miserable state and shone even brighter. Liam's feeth hurt,he felt tired,hungry and thirsty. But he kept on going, repeating to himself
"My name is Laim,which means strong willed warrior..so I...have to keep on going".
He prayed that if he kept on going forward,he would find water or maybe even food. He had long forgotten about the zombies that lurked.
It's currently the year 2090,65 years after humanity suffered it's most devastating loss due to the apocalypse. There was no warning,just the sudden appearance of two suns in the sky. Then came zombies, rain that melts even diamond.
Waters dried up, batteries exploded and electricity stopped working,humans started turning into zombie or dieing from diseases,the lucky ones however managed to develop powers. Laim didn't know whether or not he was even from this world.
He suddenly tripped, falling to the hot and hard ground. The heat instantly burned him,but he was too weak to get up. He could feel and hear it,his heartbeat was slowing down. With the little bit of strength left,he opened his palm, revealing a drawing.
The drawing was rather ugly,the woman's legs were to far apart. Her hair messy,body two big for her tiny head. The man was even worse,he looked like a stick,with thin arms and legs. In the middle was child,his smile too big for his tiny eyes,holding what looked like a soccer ball.
Even though the picture was ugly,Liam cherished it. Apart from his name this is the only other thing that he had when he arrived in this world. He suddenly felt himself being lifted up into the air by his arm. The pain felt like wake up call.
The scent of decay and those green rotten skin. Zombies. So this was how it was going to end,turned into a mindless zombie. Laim closed his eyes,and soon felt a sharp pain in his left arm. It hurt so badly,but he couldn't even find the strength to scream.
He was thrown to the ground. The pain from the impact didn't even hurt that much. All he could think about was falling asleep.
Then slowly he closed his eyes.
