On Sabaody Archipelago, inside a clothing shop, Kizaru watched the three women paying for their items.
He didn't interrupt them—
instead, he calmly stood outside the shop, waiting.
Call him lazy if you like,
but Admiral Kizaru does have manners!
Around him, a large group of Marines had already surrounded the area.
"Hey, young ladies—finished checking out?
Come on out so we can talk."
He called into the shop casually.
Soon, Robin, Reiju, and Alice stepped outside.
"Hello, ladies. I'm the newly appointed Marine Admiral, Kizaru."
"And I really must thank you—otherwise old me would've had to wait a few more days before getting promoted!"
The three nodded.
"No need to thank us."
"So, may we leave now?" Robin asked.
Kizaru shook his head gently.
"I'm afraid not. Gratitude is one thing, but I still have orders to follow."
"Alright then… where are the Celestial Dragons?"
Bang!
Alice answered with a bullet.
The shot pierced through Kizaru's torso harmlessly.
"My, my… your finger can turn into a gun?
Quite scary," he said with mild curiosity, eyeing Alice's hand.
Alice said nothing.
Her right leg shifted into a machine gun again.
"Not good—everyone, take cover!" a Marine shouted.
Kizaru could ignore bullets due to his light-body,
but the other Marines definitely couldn't.
Across the One Piece world, very few people could physically withstand gunfire.
"Marines, be careful," Robin warned kindly.
"Our Alice is pretty strong."
Ratatatatatat!
Alice unleashed another barrage.
Not far away—
"Captain, when did Kizaru become an Admiral?" Corazon asked, staring at his coat insignia.
The coat of justice was enough to tell someone's rank.
"Doesn't matter," Malverick replied.
"He was always going to be an Admiral eventually. A few days early or late changes nothing."
"Xiaobi—go."
Malverick patted Xiaobi's head, signaling him to play with Kizaru for a bit.
Xiaobi obediently leaped down from the rooftop.
As long as Xiaobi's core wasn't destroyed, Kizaru couldn't eliminate him.
Since he had just eaten the Swallow–Swallow Fruit, Malverick also wanted to test its results.
Alice's suppressive fire forced most Marines into hiding—
except Kizaru.
He walked forward casually, bullets passing through him harmlessly.
"No need to waste energy, miss.
Your attacks can't hurt me," Kizaru said lightly.
"But I can't let you keep firing. My subordinates are running out of places to hide."
He began lifting his right leg, gathering light around it.
"Forgive me, miss—this is going to hurt."
Kizaru rarely attacked women, especially young ones.
Judging by appearance, Robin was around eighteen, the maid perhaps fourteen, and the pink-haired girl maybe eleven or twelve—
He really didn't want to hit them.
Just as Kizaru prepared to strike, Reiju moved.
She punched his abdomen—
a hit coated in Haki.
It didn't injure him, but it surprised him.
This young girl could use Haki?
How odd.
Suddenly—
Kizaru sensed something behind him.
He turned—
A giant maw came down over him.
In one bite, Kizaru—and a large chunk of ground beneath him—were swallowed whole!
A massive creature—over ten meters tall, pale white fur—stood chewing.
It was Xiaobi, who had arrived at high speed.
"Admiral Kizaru!" Marines shouted in shock.
They couldn't process what happened.
Did that beast just eat an Admiral?!
Before they could act, Xiaobi's belly began glowing.
Boom!
An explosion burst from within Xiaobi's abdomen.
"What a frightening creature…
It actually managed to swallow me whole," Kizaru's voice said as his form reappeared on the ground.
He dusted off his fresh Admiral coat and stared at Xiaobi.
The gaping hole in Xiaobi's stomach was already closing rapidly.
"You look familiar… let me think…"
"Ah yes. You're that pet with a 100 million bounty."
In the pet world, Xiaobi's bounty was already near the ceiling.
Even the orangutan officer under Red-Hair didn't have a bounty that high.
"Grrr!"
Xiaobi roared—
his white fur turning blood-red, his appearance growing far more intimidating.
He rushed Kizaru and punched the ground repeatedly, each slam shaking the ground.
Seeing this, even Robin felt scared.
She'd only heard that Xiaobi had a terrifying side—
now she was witnessing it.
Biu!
A laser shot struck Xiaobi's head.
Xiaobi's head shattered—
and his massive body toppled.
Just as Kizaru exhaled slightly—
Xiaobi stood up again.
His destroyed head regenerated instantly.
Even Kizaru's calm, lazy expression stiffened.
Then—
Xiaobi's arms transformed:
A giant axe grew from one arm, a cannon from the other.
Ever since eating the Swallow–Swallow Fruit, everything he consumed—guns, cannons, swords, even ship parts—could integrate into his body.
"…Are you even a Devil Fruit user?" Kizaru muttered.
What was this creature?
Whoosh!
Xiaobi swung the axe, carving a long trench through the ground.
Kizaru leapt into the air.
"I don't believe you have no weak point."
"Yasakani no Magatama!"
A glowing cross formed in the sky, then countless golden light projectiles rained downward in a wide-area attack.
Boom—boom—boom—
Explosions engulfed Xiaobi, repeatedly breaking apart his body.
Then—
A swirling black vortex appeared in front of Xiaobi.
It generated powerful suction—
pulling in every one of Kizaru's light projectiles.
