Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Having familiarized himself with the system, Naruto finally turned his attention to his current reality. He powered on the computer first, but to his disappointment, he found nothing of interest. It seemed that computers in this world were vastly different from those he remembered. Judging by the hundreds of paper reports scattered throughout the office, it became clear how things worked here. Information was typed up, and then all the documents were printed out. There was no global internet, only a simple game like Snake, which held his attention for a couple of minutes.

After that brief moment of relaxation, he glanced at his desk and began to clear away the unnecessary trash. He left only the monitor, the keyboard, and a photograph of his wife, Hinata. The photograph captured her perfectly. Her generous breasts strained against the fabric of her dress, promising a soft and bountiful valley. Below, her wide, child-bearing hips flared out, a perfect frame for the treasures he was now entitled to claim.

"God..." Naruto swallowed, the realization that this beautiful woman was his wife hitting him with full force. He could do almost anything he wanted with her. The thought aroused him in earnest, and he immediately jumped up from his seat, ready to rush home. He stopped himself, however, and sank back into the chair. It would be better not to attract unwanted attention.

"She might recognize my changed behavior," he mused. "It would be easier for her than for anyone else... she's my wife, after all. But, she is so damn sexy. Judging by her low depravity score, the original Naruto either hadn't consummated the marriage yet or they were both incredibly inexperienced." With a sneer, the man leaned back in his chair and threw his feet onto the table.

"Damn it, this isn't so bad! Now I am the Seventh Hokage, and it looks like the old me no longer exists. I have power, a hot wife, and a lot of connections in my hands. Yes, I'm lucky!"

His eyes caught something under the desk. A small, built-in safe.

"Interesting... Well, why not?" With a grin, Naruto gripped the handle of the safe and pulled. To his surprise, the metal lock broke with a satisfying crunch. The physical power of the legendary shinobi, even without chakra, was impressive.

"Hmm," he grunted, rummaging through some papers inside before his fingers closed around a thick wad of cash. He counted it quickly: 20,000 Ryo.

"Oh, not bad. It looks like this is where he kept his personal things." Rummaging a little more, he found several wedding photos with the charming Hinata, as well as pictures of very young children he didn't recognize. There were various papers, a spare Leaf forehead protector, and even a couple of packs of instant noodles. It was hard to believe anyone would keep this in a safe. However, there were also scrolls containing different techniques that, surprisingly, he could understand how to read. They weren't particularly helpful at the moment. He found a secret scroll from the First Hokage and a set of techniques from Tobirama Senju.

"Okay, maybe this will be useful later. There are also some reports and secret intelligence notes, but I don't really understand them." Returning the safe's broken door to its previous position to make it look untouched, Naruto pocketed the money. Nearby, on a hanger, he found his white Hokage coat and a spare set of clothes.

After a quick, fruitless search through the books on the shelf, the Hokage returned to his desk. But at that same moment, he suddenly tensed. He heard a sound from the hallway—footsteps.

Adopting the busiest and most serious expression he could muster, Naruto pulled the keyboard closer and stared intently at the monitor.

Without knocking, someone quietly entered his office. The Hokage immediately disliked the lack of respect but didn't show it, maintaining his facade of being engrossed in work.

"Ha, Naruto, back to work already? That's unexpected," a lazy voice drawled. A tall, thin man slowly entered the office. Naruto recognized him immediately; Shikamaru was hard to mistake. He had sharp, dark hair tied back, narrow, bored eyes, and a small beard on his chin. He didn't look particularly healthy, though his white shirt, worn like a light coat, was stylish enough. An immediate desire to get rid of his own bright orange clothes sparked in Naruto's mind.

Naruto turned away from the man and resumed reading the first document he came across.

Shikamaru bent down curiously and glanced at the Hokage's screen.

"Ah... you're examining that case again. I told you, you need to rest, relax." Leaning on the desk, Shikamaru brushed away some dust without any embarrassment and grinned. "You're working too hard. Let's go have a drink with Choji tonight."

Naruto was already beginning to feel annoyed at this familiar attitude from his "friend." He was the Hokage, and this guy was acting so casually in his office. He knew they were friends in his past life, but it grated on him now. Still, he didn't lose his temper, though he did break his focus to end the unpleasant chatter.

"Have you finished your work?"

"Ah..." Shikamaru smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his head. "I'll finish it tomorrow. In any case, Shizune will bring everything for you to see. If something is wrong, you'll correct it, right? All this paperwork is such a drag."

Naruto's eyebrows shot up. "You haven't done your job, and you're planning to go rest?"

"Well, uh..." Shikamaru looked at him as if he had just killed his cat. "What's gotten into you? You don't usually push like that. Like I said, I'll do it later, buddy."

"Just go, Shikamaru," Naruto sighed, saying whatever would make him leave.

"Oh, thanks, buddy!" Shikamaru was delighted and, as if a heavy burden had been lifted, immediately cheered up. "Okay, it's evening already, time to go home... well, I mean, time to find Choji. Haha, you know us... By the way, we'd be glad to see you too! Oh yeah, can you cover for me if Temari asks?"

Naruto just nodded, and his "friend" immediately vanished from the office.

"Yes, it looks like this is just how things are around here," the Hokage muttered, shaking his head with an irritated grimace. "And what a mess you left me... No respect. I'm sitting here working, and he's off to have fun."

Realizing the problematic nature of his current situation, the Hokage only grew more determined. He had to get strong, regain all his power, and change these ridiculous rules as quickly as possible.

As soon as Shikamaru left the office, he clenched his fist happily.

"Excellent! Naruto always helps me out. Becoming his advisor was the best choice of my life," he thought, chuckling to himself as he anticipated a pleasant evening with Choji.

After Shikamaru left, Naruto felt the urge to go home and see Hinata, hoping to increase her submission points quickly. But before that he had to check out his new body.
