Chapter 1 - Chosen Ones.

.ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟙

."In the world of Gaia, where five kingdoms reign supreme...

- The Demons, born from the depths of the underworld, were once ruled by the mighty King Bael, who forged his legacy in the fiery depths of the underworld.

- The Dragons, a race of catastrophic beings, brought about a calamity that bridged the gap between worlds, allowing otherworldly forces to flood into Gaia. Their ruler, the formidable Archidia, still stirs in the shadows.

- The Rulers, divine angels from the heavens, maintain the balance of power in Gaia, ensuring that no single force dominates the others. Their leader, the celestial Mihkael, watches over the realm with piercing gaze.

- The Monsters, creatures from the abyss, wage endless war against humanity. Their queen, the ruthless Elziel, commands her legions with an iron fist.

- The Humans, once the dominant force in Gaia, ruled with mighty King Lucius, a legendary figure who rivaled the power of the five kingdoms. But now, their kingdom teeters on the brink of collapse, threatened by the forces of darkness that seek to erase them from history."

In a distant world called Earth, Suho Kim, a college student nearing graduation in engineering, had his life turned upside down. Summoned to Gaia, he finds himself in the kingdom of Elpisa, a human kingdom on the verge of destruction due to Monstrovia's relentless assaults, led by the ruthless Queen Elziel."In a twist of fate, Suho Kim was among the ten chosen ones summoned from Earth to Gaia. The moment the truth was revealed, Suho Kim was cast out, banished to a desolate village on the Monstrovia Kingdom's border.

"Thanks for not giving me a gift," Suho Kim said, relieved. " Guess I won't have to play hero after all.

As he walked away, the people who brought him there didn't even bother to look back. Suho Kim shrugged and opened his bag, only to find it empty.

"Hey, come back! You forgot something!" he shouted, but it was too late.

Goblins emerged from the shadows, their cruel blades glinting in the sunlight. One of them stabbed Suho Kim in the back.

"Ahh, what the... Goblins?!" Suho Kim screamed, writhing in agony as the monsters closed in.

As he lay dying, Suho Kim's thoughts turned bitter. "Why me? Why now, when I'm so close to achieving my dreams?"

Everything went black.

A voice echoed, "Open your eyes. Open your eyes."

Suho Kim's eyes flickered open, and a system window appeared before him.

"Ultimate Skill: Eye of Creation," the voice announced.

"Master, I'm glad I reached you in time," the voice said. "I'm your gift, Eye of Creation."

Suho Kim's mind reeled. "Master? Who are you? How can you talk?"

The voice replied, "I am your gift, Master. Please, give me a name."

Suho Kim's thoughts were a jumble, but he managed to whisper, "Alright... Eye of Creation, I name you...Eve."

Eve evolved into the Eye of Everything.

Suho Kim took a deep breath. "Thanks for saving me, Eve. I thought I was done for."

"Master, you don't need to thank me," Eve replied. "You're the only master I have."

Suho looked around. "Where are we?"

Eve scanned their surroundings. "Info: Lucius Village. Birthplace of Lucius Vhender, the first king of humanity. Population: 387. Village chief: Lucas Vhender, descendant of Lucius."

Suho's curiosity got the better of him. "What about the other side of the mountain?"

Eve's scan revealed more information. "Border of the human and monster kingdoms. Creatures ranging from F to SSS class inhabit that area."

A loud voice echoed. "Hey, what are you doing there? There are monsters around!"

A young man appeared, and Eve's Eye of Everything scanned him.

"Name: Lex Vhender. Age: 25. Son of Lucas Vhender. Skill: Black Sword Style. Class: Weapon. Rank: A."

Lex approached them with a charming smile. "Hi, I'm Lex, the chief's son. And you are...?"

Suho introduced himself, explaining his situation. Lex's expression turned serious.

"Those bastards from the kingdom don't care about us," Lex said. "They're too busy relying on their precious heroes."

Suho chuckled. "I'm no hero. I'm actually a defect. No gift to speak of."

Lex's eyes widened in surprise. "No way! You're...different."

Suddenly, Suho's stomach growled loudly. "Sorry, I'm starving."

Lex grinned. "Come with me! I'll introduce you to my father, and you can eat with us." Lex's subordinates nodded in agreement, their eyes filled with sympathy.

As they walked towards the village, Suho couldn't help but feel uneasy about the surroundings. The broken houses, dry land, and desolate atmosphere made him wonder if this was really the birthplace of the first king.

Suho's thoughts were interrupted by Lex's sudden question. "Suho, are you wondering why our village is like this?"

Suho nodded, and Lex began to explain. "Everything changed after the first king's death, 300 years ago. This village was once the kingdom's capital, and the king's territory stretched beyond the mountains. But after he disappeared, the war between Monstrovia and Elpisa began, and it hasn't stopped since."

Lex's expression turned grim. "Monstrovia attacked Elpisa, and our kingdom fell. If it weren't for the rulers who came to our aid, there would be no one left in Elpisa. But Monstrovia still hasn't given up. They keep attacking us, and Lucius Village is one of the places that gets caught in the crossfire."

Suho's eyes widened in understanding. "And the kingdom just left you to fend for yourselves?"

Lex nodded. "Yeah. If it weren't for my father, this village would've been erased from the map by now."

Suho felt a surge of sympathy for the people of Lucius Village. He couldn't believe that the kingdom would abandon its own people like this.

As Lex and Suho continued their conversation, they arrived at the house of the village chief, Lucas Vhender. Before they could enter, Lex was suddenly punched by his father, Lucas.

Lucas: "You reckless boy! Where have you been? You know you're the only heir I have, and if anything happens to me..."

Lex: "Father, I was just outside the village, looking for food. But I found someone - a man from the kingdom. He told me he was summoned along with nine heroes, but he was cast out because he didn't receive a gift."

Lucas's expression turned serious, and he looked at Suho with interest.

As they entered the chief's house, Lucas's eyes locked onto Suho's. "So, the prophecy is true," he said, his voice filled with a mix of awe and determination. "The ten heroes from another world will save Elpisa, and one of them is a man who can unite the five kingdoms."

Lex's eyes widened in confusion. "Father, what do you mean?"

Lucas's gaze remained fixed on Suho. "Suho Kim, isn't it? I believe you have a crucial role to play in our village's fate."

Suho nodded, his expression cautious.

Lucas continued, "Can you lead our village and restore it to its former glory? I know you feel powerless, but I have faith in you."

As Lucas spoke, he kneeled before Suho, his eyes pleading.

Lex rushed forward, shocked. "Father, don't do this!"

Suho's thoughts raced. "I just want a peaceful life. I thought I'd escaped responsibility..."

After a moment's hesitation, Suho nodded. "Okay, I'll do it. But you remain the chief. I'll make this village better."

Lucas's face lit up with hope. "Thank you, Suho. We'll work together to rebuild this village."
