"Your applause means a lot. Just like you saw, a Pokémon short film is a way to share the beauty of Pokémon and their bonds with Trainers with a wider audience."
"In that spirit, I hope each of you will shoot your own Pokémon short film today!"
"To help you make it shine, we've even prepared tools to make Pokémon Puffs and some cute decorative props. Feel free to use them however you like!"
After the professor wrapped up his announcement, the campers burst into action. With Drone Rotoms and Yoko's tech team handling the heavy lifting, the kids who had initially felt overwhelmed were now bubbling with excitement.
"Waaah! A Pokémon short film? How should I shoot it?!"
"Hey Serena, do you have any good ideas?"
Shauna, who dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Performer, was positively glowing with excitement when she learned today's activity was about filming.
Serena, who had already discovered the same dream, was just as thrilled.
"I say, Shauna, forget your own film for now! Come help us out!" Gary waved them over, sounding a little desperate.
"This kind of activity isn't really our strength, and we have no idea where to start!" he sighed.
"Yeah, help us out!"
"Please do!"
Tierno and Trevor joined in pleading.
"S-sorry~!" Shauna scratched her head awkwardly, having gotten a little too excited herself.
"Well, like Professor Oak said earlier," Shauna explained, stepping into Performer-mode, "a Pokémon short film is a special kind of promotional video. You can focus on just the Pokémon—capturing their actions, personality, and charm."
"Or you can highlight the bond between a Trainer and their Pokémon—how they interact in daily life. That emotional connection can be the heart of the video."
"Before you start filming, think about your Pokémon. What makes them unique? How do you usually interact with them? Any fun or touching moments that come to mind?"
"If your film captures either your Pokémon's uniqueness or your deep bond with them… I believe that'll make it a really strong entry!"
Having long embraced her dream of becoming a Performer, Shauna had already mastered the fundamentals. Her insight into how to frame, theme, and express Pokémon through short films proved invaluable.
Gary: "So… show off a Pokémon's unique traits, huh…"
Ash: "Or focus on the bond between us and our Pokémon…"
Their eyes lit up with inspiration as Shauna's words began to click.
Just like Ash and the others had supported her before, now it was Shauna's turn to help them.
For Ash's Froakie, she suggested using water-based visuals to highlight its typing.
For Fletchling, a Flying-type with future Fire potential, she proposed a high-sky soaring scene, hinting at its evolution.
For Tierno's Poliwag, a dance routine together would capture its rhythm and energy.
For Trevor's Sandshrew, a nature-shoot where they explore the wild together, capturing candid moments of Sandshrew in the environment.
Even Green received some thoughtful advice from Shauna.
As for Serena? Shauna told her to come up with her own concept.
After all, if she was to become a true Performer, learning to think creatively and independently was a vital part of the journey.
Thanks to Shauna, the campers no longer looked lost or unsure. The spark of inspiration had ignited in everyone's hearts.
They now had at least a rough idea of the stories they wanted to tell.
Without hesitation, everyone split up to begin their shoots.
"Let's go, Froakie! Rotom, I'm counting on you for today's filming!"
Ash waved to his pale-blue Drone Rotom, which matched Froakie's color perfectly. He cradled Froakie in his arms and headed toward the forest beyond the camp.
"Froaaa…"
"Bzzz~" The light blue Drone Rotom buzzed to life, following Ash closely. Ash was sure that with Rotom's help, today's shoot was going to be epic.
"System, scan Drone Rotom's data."

Ash signaled the drone to lower itself, touched its metallic surface, and issued the mental command.

Though there were only six, four of them—Double Team, Confuse Ray, Charge, and Electro Ball—were rare, high-tier moves. In the open market, these would easily fetch tens of thousands as TMs.
"Hah… once I'm done filming, I should cozy up to the other campers too. With 100 Drone Rotoms flying around, that's 100 sets of moves I could copy!"
"Saffron TV… you really delivered a massive gift this time."
Ash grinned as he gently activated Source Cleansing on the drone—his heart quietly brimming with gratitude and excitement.
