Hard pillows, uncomfortable bed, smelly sheets and blanket, such up close rooms,and of course those blue curtains acting as walls, I can't forget such, found on only one place,a freaking hospital.
I'm in a hospital and I hate hospitals to the core.
"How did I get here?" I asked myself, the last thing I remembered, I was almost kidnapped, I hit my head and someone saved me, I think he's the one who brought me here. My head hurts a little and the bandage tied on it is making it worse.
"Good you're awake,, miss, how do you feel?" a nurse who'd just finished examining the patient sleeping on the bed before mine asked.
"I'm feeling alright. Uhmm when do I get out of here?" I asked.
"Sorry to say but you can't leave just yet, it's against protocol, the doctors are still observing and testing you, just on case you got any internal injuries," she replied.
"So I can't leave" I thought to myself. But whatever! this can't stop me.
After she turned just a little, I almost threw myself out of the bed, with how reckless I am, I don't mind getting hurt. I almost made a run for it but I bumped into a hard chest that blocked my way. I closed my eyes and slowly opened them, I observed what he was wearing, a doctor's coat, his scent was extra ordinary, lifting my head up, his face was covered with a blue surgical mask.
But even if it was, it didn't hide how handsome he must be. I'm quite sure he's the hot doctor around here with such a body. Without saying a word, he sweeped me off my feet into his strong arms and carried me back to my bed, tucking me in.
"Rest ma'am, your time to leave has not come yet" his husky voice sounded in my ears. 'Did such man angels still exist?'
"He's such a ... . gentleman" my thoughts came rushing in. I had second thoughts about leaving, but no, I was still hell bent on going.
After he went out with the nurse, I slowly got off the bed, wore my slippers and left the room too. Sneaking around was one of my habits since childhood, looking for any way out. I could see the elevator not far from where I was, but the same nurse was also coming back my way with some medicines in her hands. No! I took a right turn behind me, to the only door that was there, it also turned out to be a doctor's cabin or something.
Judging by the desk, the arranged medical equipment, doctor coats by the window. Wow! out of all hospital rooms I've been to, this is the best one I've seen so far.
I couldn't help but snoop around, the office chair looked to be comfortable to sit in, similar to the one I have in my office. I took a seat, spinning it around while scanning the room as well, then suddenly, my eyes landed on someobe standing by the wall close to the door.
It was a man, and he was shirtless. He must be the owner.
"What are you doing in here?" He asked. To avoid any problems, I tried to run away but he caught me and trapped me on the desk with both his mascular hands on either side while I was between them.
I took a closer look, from his lower abdomen, to the muscles and body, to his face, that was right next to mine, staring at me! It was him.
" Did I not just leave you resting in the patient's ward?" he asked.
" So he's the same hot doctor."
"This is my cabin and you're not allowed to be here" he said. But I wasn't really concentrating.
'Why was his voice so good and have that sexy tone'
" I didn't know this was your cabin" I finally replied after what seemed like an eternity.
"You're so reckless and stubborn, you could get hurt," he said with a hint of worry.
"Are you so worried about me that you saved me last night and brought me here?" I asked hoping to get an answer but there was a knock on the door.
"Hey boss, are you in there?" The person knocking asked before he quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me to his changing room, closing the curtain just in time before the person entered.
"Boss? I need you to sign some papers from the dean, where are you?" He asked again.
I was about to open my mouth but he pushed me against the wall and closed my mouth tightly with his palm.
" Just leave them there Gary. I'll sign them but not now" he replied.
"But he needs them right now boss " Gary said.
"I'm still a little busy Gary " he replied, how dare he hold me against my will! I'll show him.
I used my right hand to pull the curtain and it opened, exposing how busy he was.
"Ohh!! Sorry boss. I didn't know...." Gary tried hiding his face.
"This is not what it looks like .." he tried explaining while releasing me but I wasn't planning on letting it slide.
"This is what it looks like Gary...he and I are dating"
