One day I work up achy and feeling disoriented. I tried to push some of my healing energy through me, but it just eased the aches, I was still shivering and coughing.
Ocello came in to see me and he took one look and me and told me to stay in bed.
"It is the coughing sickness," Ocello said, putting his hand to my forehead.
"Isn't my healing magic enough to get rid of it?" Ocello shook his head.
"Healing magic heals most things, but the coughing sickness isn't one of them." He pulled his hand away and frowned. "You have a fever," he said.
I dissolved into a fit of violent coughs. It felt like this was the flu. Did this world have viruses? It must have and it seems that they are immune to healing magic.
"It should only last a day or two, but you will need to stay here." He said. "Most of us have had the coughing sickness when we were younger, so we should be alright to take care of you."
"What about the twins and Kachel?" Ocello shook his head.
