It was a bird that had its wings spread out. It was the largest of the marriage marks spanning the width of my upper back.
But the thing that annoyed me the most was that I couldn't see it! They didn't really have mirrors and all I could see was a glimpse of the wings as I looked over my shoulders.
Gine smiled as he traced the edges of the mark and I shivered at the light touch.
"Kami, it is time to fee Kachel." Ocello came into the room with a basin of hot water. He looked at Gine and sighed.
"You really should have waited till Kami had recovered."
Gine blushed and said nothing. I giggled at the look on his face. Can someone look both guilty and smug at the same time. Gine glanced over at me and I grinned.
"I did recover!" I protested. I stood naked and walked over to the basin, taking the cloth from Ocello's hand.
