Chapter 25 - A Confrontation of Witches, Vampires & Wolves, Pt 1! Who The Fuck Is Sebastian?

Chapter 25: A Confrontation of Witches, Vampires & Wolves, Pt 1! Who The Fuck Is Sebastian?

[[Malachai "Kai" Parker]:

CRUNCH.

CHOMP. CHOMP. CHOMP.

Kai ate from his bag of pork rinds, taking note of the tension in the air — and the sources of said tension; i.e., the Original vampiric douchebag, Cole Miguel(or something like that), and the crazy feisty little witch that he's found himself oddly obsessed over in recent — Maximus Bennett. The two were glaring at one another with a heated gaze — and Kai was certain it wasn't just lust he sensed in their wordless, heated argument.

'What could've happened in that short time of my absence? They're not even eating the junk food I used someone else's money to buy. That was very draining effort — you could at least try to appreciate it,' Kai thought, eyeing the bag of snacks he got for Max, before glancing back between Max and Kal-El-something, before a faint smirk came across his expression, as a thought began sprouting in Kai. 'If tensions between them gets anymore heated, I'd be able to physically cut it with a knife… Gosh, I hope no ill befalls Mr. Douchebag and his relationship with the looker that was Maximus. It's not like I'd do anything to speedrun that rupture or anything like that…'.

Kai won't admit it, but the beginnings of a plan was already forming in his malicious mind — a scheme to pull Max to his side, to claim as his, over that Kale guy. He was getting hard just thinking about it.

As a pansexual, Kai had no real preference as to who to sleep with. And, though he was banished to a prison dimension for 17 years, he was not a virgin when he went in and was quite skilled at intercourse, as reminiscent back in Chapter 22. Man nor woman never mattered to Kai — so long as they were fun and distracting enough, Kai often did both.

The thought of Max naked and at his mercy entered Kai's head, his semi-hard-on thickening a bit.

Unconsciously, the thought made Kai's smirk sharpen and finally, Kol decided to speak up, never once losing eye contact with Maximus, even as he said, "It's not that I can't sense your smirk, you disturbingly serpentine wanker. It's that I don't truly care as to why it's there. That said…" he turned to Kai, eyes cold and gaze sharp. "If you don't remove it, I'll do it for you. Permanently. By relieving you of your face."

CRUNCH.

CHEWING. CHEWING.

CHRUNCH.

SLURP.

BURP.

"Sorry about that. Gee, that was delicious," Kai's smirk never left his face, even as he held the Original Dourchebag's face, as he merely continued to smile cheesily, as if he hadn't just been threatened by a vampire progenitor. "Wow, you're such crazypants. You know, I've been told you aren't you when you're hungry. Perhaps you want some food? Pork rind? They're really good."

As Kai made the gesture with his bag of fired chips, Kol's eyes went black, his fangs extending as the veins around his eyes darkened. "I'm tempted to satiate my hunger upon you, you spineless peasant."

As Kol took a threatening step towards a nonchalant Kai, whose heartbeat, despite his will, had indeed begun to speed up, Max spoke up. "Kol. The rules?"

Kol gave pause, his eyes reverting, if briefly in clarity, before darkening once more, his brows furrowing into a glare, seemingly, at Kai. "Why?"

"Because I said so," was Max's response.

"What if I don't want —" but Kol didn't finish the sentence before getting pinned to the wall in seconds — Not by magic, but by physical feat.

'I forget he's part werewolf at times,' Ka thought, noting how close the two were, how Max was starring into Kol's eyes, which reverted back to their oddly attractive (Kai would never admit this) dark brown, the black of his pupils dilating as he stared back into Maximus' hazel-green, suddenly seemingly submissive to Maximus' gaze. Kai felt a sudden, unfamiliar feeling begin to swell deep within himself. 'Is this…jeaolousy I'm feeling? What a bizarre emotion.'

"You are mine, Kol. You both are," Max said, locking eyes between the two, causing a tingle to slide down Kai's spine, as he digested Max's declaration. "If I had to slaughter a thousand and one witches, vampires and werewolves to ensure your survival, I'd do it a million times, no questions asked. The least you dolts can do is attempt to get along. Do I make myself clear?"

Both men looked at one another, an unspoken understanding passing between the two murder-happy maniacs. They nodded once, an agreement passing between the two. They had just fallen even deeper for the witch than they had before, which was odd, considering Kai was certain that he was at least a full blown sociopath. The feeling of being 'owned' by this particular witch was both exhilarating and intoxicating, all at once — It was addicting, and some major part of Kai wanted to just take the boy before him right then and there, with or without Kol's involvement.

"Understood," Kol's voice sounded, making Kai realize he hadn't said anything , as Max pulled away; both men straightened their clothes.

"Crystal clear, Claressa," chuckled Kai, munching on a pork rind.

"I need air." Max let out a breath as he walked past, snatching his bag of pork rind on his way out the door. Both men attempted to follow, but Max shouted, "Alone. That includes you, Sebastian," without turning back.

As the door closed behind him, Kol and Kai leveled eyes. And Kol asked the question that Kai wanted answered too:

"Who the fuck is Sebastian?"

[Maxmius Alexander Westphall-Bennett POV]:

As Maximus stepped out into the rain, he decided to not set up the magic umbrella spell he had created before, choosing instead to feel the rain on his skin.

He had on a long sleeve black t-shirt that fit him snugly, showcasing his growing muscles, over a pair of black joggers, black and blue tennis shoes and a blue cloth hooded vest. The sleeves on his shirt was rolled up midway to his elbows and his grey G-shock watch sat comfortably on the right arm, waterproof and electrically conductive.

He walked for an unknown amount of time, aimlessly, around the town of Sumter.

He eventually paused before a field of grass, the phone poles lining its edges. The hills were uneven but the lengths were easily well-kept.

As he paused before the field of hills and grass, directly between the two phone poles, he couldn't shake the feeling that something bad would soon occur. He even felt his tattoo glow a silvery-grey and his eyes took on a baby blue glow.

He had no idea how long he stood there in the rain, eyes glowing, but when he came back to himself, he briefly muttered to himself, "A lone black cat surrounded by bats, wolves, crows, owls and toads…" he murmured. "Bats = Vampires, and wolves are obviously werewolves. Owls… psychics? Crows could be seers… Toads are definitely witches… And this field is defi—"

"So you are really a seer," a female voice suddenly grasped Max's startled attention. Turning around, he noticed 2 different ghosts standing on either side of him: Emily Bennett and… Sebastian. "I thought you were lying, honestly."

"Ancestress…" Maximus nodded towards Emily respectfully, before eyeing Sebastian with a slight frown. "Seb, I thought I said I wanted to be alone…".

"Two and a half hours ago, Gorgeous," Sebastian gave his usual, flirtatious smirk, but his eyes held a softness to it that didn't belong to a manipulator and slaughterer of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands. "I came to see if you were alright. Saw this witch haunting you, thought I'd see if you were quainting yourself still…".

"Hmm…," his tone had Max tilt his head in contemplation. 'Was he worried about me? But I haven't had a strong relationship with him like that. Could it be? Is it my Charm factor at work? How strong is that charm factor that it bypasses time to strengthen ties? Cause that is just broken. If it really is my Charm factor strengthening and speedrunning relationship bonds in ways that aren't supposed to exist, it truly cannot be a 9/10 Charm factor by mortal standards. It's gotta be comparative to celestials like angelic beauty, maybe, or even divine level, perhaps? Either way, it is a broken ability.'

Then he remembered Emily's words, and he turned to her. "What do you mean by that?"

"Seers see the future through mediums or representationally interpreted visions. Psychics feel the future. That's the difference between the two," Emily answered. "The way you described your foresight, it sounded more like psychic than seer. Now, though, I am certain you are both."

"And why's that?" Max could've sworn he heard whooshing coming from the woods beyond the field, but just attributed it to the wind and continued to question the witchy ghost before him.

"Because that psychic wave you sent out… has made you an enemy of many powerful witches, vampires and werewolves," Emily said, her expression as blank as usual. "They're coming to kill you. I came to warn you. I—"

Suddenly, Emily and Sebastian both vanished as if by magic, and when Max looked around himself he noticed himself surrounded by a small army of witches, vampires and werewolves — At least, 40 werewolves, 60 witches and 120 vampires, the leaders of each force standing before Max like ambassadors.

"Maximus Bennett," the lead witch — A warlock of extreme pride and power spoke through the rain. "You are much too powerful to continue to exist. No one is above the laws of nature — And yet you have defied her will not once, but 4 times. Your defiance cannot be allowed to exist. We are the Hand of Nature, Cursers of the Travellers and the Executers of Nature. We cannot let you live today, and so, we won't. Like the Travellers, we've come to deal with you, only, unlike them, you, we can kill."

And the entire time of the warlock's speech, Max was thinking of a certain scene from The Witcher and that sorceress's final stand; her lightning was immense and it was called 'living lightning' for a reason, Max supposed. It would be the perfect way to deal with this little army.

Looking up, Max saw the sky above becoming darker and darker, as if heralding his decision. "What beautiful weather to summon Alzur's Thunder, no?"

Then, smirking, Max used his telekinesis to hoover multiple stores off the ground, just below the peaked height of the telephone poles, as he began chanting…
