Lucifer knelt Infront of the wooden cross, eyes closed and hands clasped together. Behind him his mother paced back and forth with a distressed expression. Lucifer opened his eyes and glanced at her. Then she suddenly stopped, looking straight at him.
"What do you think you're looking at!. Close your eyes and confess all your sins!".
She yelled so loud that Lucifer was sure that it woke the entire neighborhood. He sighed and closed his eyes. He didn't know what he had done wrong. All he did was try to veiw those 18+ sites;he was eighteen after all.
But when his mom saw this she instantly dragged him to the confession room. He never even got to see what was so special about these sites. Lucifer moved his lips as if he was praying,but the only words he really said we're
"Useless God I hope you go to hell. I hope you never come back you asshole, because humanity doesn't need you you!"
Of course Lucifer made sure his mom didn't hear those words. Whenever he was simply being honest and saying that they should stop praying for God had abandoned them,he would not eat for a whole week. If his mom heard these words...
Lucifer could only imagine just how bad his punishment would be. But he wasn't lying,for everyone knows that God has left humanity to suffer. He opened his eyes and stood up. His mom had stopped pacing and looked calm.
"Have you confessed all your sins and asked for forgiveness?". Lucifer nodded.
"Good,now get some sleep, first thing tomorrow morning we leave for the check up".
Lucifer nodded again and headed to his room. The check weighing on his mind. Even after God abandoned humanity, angles extended a hand. Giving humanity powers that is now known as talent;since it's something everyone has.
He reached his room and shut the door behind. He made sure he was completely alone,then sighed. Blood red horns appeared on his head,as black wings stretched from his back. He collapsed unto the bed, staring at the ceiling.
"Maintaining my human form really takes a lot of energy".
This was a secret he dare not tell his parents.
"I wonder how they'll react when they find out I'm actually a demon. The very thing both heaven and humanity despise and kill".
Lucifer didn't feel scared at the thought,in fact he felt rather excited. He knows nothing of his past only that his parents found him when he was five, nearly dead. He yawned and covered himself with a blanket, letting sleep takeover.

Lucifer groaned and got up, searching for his phone;the sound that woke him up was a notification sound. He found his phone laying on the floor,he picked it up and saw the word system. Yesterday he had download a mysterious app that called itself system.
Lucifer thought that it was one of those apps that help protagonists level up in novels,mangas and anime. But the app was a fake. Only system shows when you open it,but now there were other words showing.
