After returning to Hogwarts, Roy made his way to the staff room, taking his place at the teachers' table in the Great Hall. Seated beside him were Professor McGonagall, Snape, Sprout, Flitwick, Hagrid, Umbridge, and Telewarny.
Roy's first announcement set the room abuzz. "Professor McGonagall," he said, "Horace Slughorn has accepted to come back and teach Potions."
McGonagall's eyes lit up, a smile breaking her usually strict composure. "That's wonderful news!" she exclaimed. "The students will benefit greatly from his return."
Snape, although hiding it behind his usual stoicism, allowed a faint nod of approval. It was clear he was pleased that his former teacher and mentor would be back, strengthening the Potions Department.
Meanwhile, Roy couldn't help but notice the effect he had on the students. Every girl in the houses kept glancing at him, their eyes lingering for longer than polite curiosity. Hermione, Cassandra, Daphne, Cho Chang, Ginny, Luna, and Astoria exchanged subtle looks of jealousy, each noticing the attention their companion, Roy, was unintentionally drawing.
Even as the professors discussed schedules and curriculum, Roy's calm confidence commanded the room.
Later that evening, after dinner, Roy addressed the student body. Standing tall, he spoke with a tone both encouraging and commanding respect.
"Good luck to all teams participating in the Quidditch Cup this year. Play fair, play hard, and may the best team win."
The students nodded respectfully, a mix of excitement and determination shining in their eyes. With that, they dispersed, returning to their common rooms and dormitories, leaving Roy and the professors to finalize their plans for the school year.
