Chapter 246 - Chapter 243

Umbridge had been trembling with humiliation ever since Roy stepped on her face the night Dumbledore escaped. But humiliation alone wasn't enough—she wanted revenge.

So, two days after Roy officially became Principal, Umbridge marched through the halls of Hogwarts with her clipboard held like a weapon and a smile so fake it made even portraits cringe.

"I will show that pink brat who runs this school," she muttered to herself. "Him? A fifteen-year-old Principal? Ridiculous!"

She wasn't ready for what the castle had in store.

Attempt #1 — Umbridge Tries to Intimidate Roy

Umbridge stormed toward the Great Hall, ready to confront Roy publicly.

But before she reached the doors…

Peeves floated down from the ceiling with a wide, wicked grin.

"OH, lookie lookie! The toad waddles in pink cookie!"

Umbridge screeched, "Move aside, you filthy poltergeist!"

Peeves saluted dramatically.

"Sorry, Toadie dear—orders from the Big Boss!"

She froze.

"…Big Boss?""Principal Valvas," Peeves said proudly. "He gave me full freedom to prank anyone causing trouble."

Umbridge opened her mouth to scream—

SPLASH!

A bucket of strawberry pudding dumped over her head.

Students passing by stared…

Then burst into uncontrolled laughter.

Even some portraits clapped.

Umbridge looked like a melting pink cake.

She shrieked and ran toward the bathrooms.

Peeves bowed."Compliments of Principal Roy!"

Attempt #2 — Umbridge Tries to Enter Roy's Office

After cleaning herself up (and failing), she marched to the Principal's office.

She glared at the gargoyle.

"Move aside."

The gargoyle's stone face twisted into something resembling a smirk.

"Password?"

"Let me in! I am Hogwarts High Inquisitor!"

The gargoyle shook its head.

"Password."

Umbridge's face turned purple.

"Do you know who I am?!"

"Yes," the gargoyle said. "The password is still required."

Umbridge tried to barge past—

THUNK.

She bounced off an invisible barrier like a rubber ball.

The portraits above laughed loudly.

Phineas Nigellus added,"If Roy doesn't want you inside, you're more likely to get into Azkaban."

She screamed and stormed away.

Attempt #3 — Umbridge Tries to Overrule Roy in Class

Her next plan was simple:Interrupt Roy during a class.

She kicked open the door to Hufflepuff's joint Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson.

"Mr. Valvas," she said venomously, "I will be observing your teaching to ensure you are NOT corrupting the students—"

Roy didn't even look at her.

"Students," Roy said calmly, "You know what to do."

Every Hufflepuff stood up…And pulled out official parchment papers.

Each page said:

AUTHORIZATION OF PRINCIPAL ROY VALVASSigned by:✔ Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge✔ Professor Sprout✔ Hogwarts Board of Governors

Umbridge froze.

Roy smiled politely."Fudge gave me full authority to run Hogwarts as I see fit. You remember that conversation, right? The one where he told you never to pick a fight with me?"

Umbridge swallowed.

Hard.

"But—but—I—"

Roy raised a hand.

"Also, Umbridge… you interrupted my class."

She stepped back.

"Ten points from—"

Before she could finish, the Hufflepuffs BOOED her loudly.

This wasn't normal booing. This was full volume, stadium-level booing.

Umbridge covered her ears and fled the classroom in terror.

Attempt #4 — The Castle Itself Joins Roy

Umbridge tried one last time that night.

She wandered the halls writing down "infractions," convinced she would find something to use against Roy.

She turned the corner…

And the suits of armor saluted.

Not at her.

At Roy, who was simply walking by.

"PRINCIPAL VALVAS!" the whole row of armored knights shouted.

Umbridge gasped."Why are you saluting HIM?!"

One suit of armor turned its helmet toward her.

"We recognize the true leader of Hogwarts. And it is not you, Toad Woman."

She screeched like a banshee.

Roy simply smiled and kept walking.

Umbridge Accepts Defeat… Barely

Later that evening, Umbridge sat in her pink-covered office hugging a teacup like it was holy protection.

She muttered:

"I need to survive. I need to survive. I just need to survive the year…"

Because now she knew the truth—

Hogwarts itself had chosen Roy.Not her.Not Fudge.

And certainly not the self-proclaimed "High Inquisitor."

Even Peeves peeked into her window and whispered gleefully:

"Good luck, Toadie.You'll need it."
