Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Training and Bonds of the Yaksha

The morning sun spilled across the Valvas estate's grand courtyard.

Roy stood on the training field, Ryūjin Jakka and Kyōka Suigetsu at his side. The system store had already changed the course of his growth—he had purchased Chakra Methods from another world, mastered the Zanpakutō, and honed his bloodline to its peak.

"Alright... one more repetition."

He spun Ryūjin Jakka, flames twisting like serpents around the blade. In the next instant, the sword ignited, launching a firestorm into the air that melted the frost left by Serafall's brief frost manipulation practice earlier.

Beside him, Kyōka Suigetsu shimmered faintly, its illusions already refined to the highest level. Its Bankai form radiated a chilling presence, though Roy's control over it was absolute.

Teaching the Nekomata Sisters

Kuroka and Shirone, now safely residing in the Valvas mansion, watched with wide eyes.

"Roy-sama... that's amazing!" Kuroka gasped, her tail swishing nervously.

"Can... we learn too?"

Roy smiled, sheathing Ryūjin Jakka.

"Of course. The Chakra Method isn't just for combat—it's about control, focus, and spirit. You'll need that if you want to survive in this world."

For hours, Roy trained them, teaching hand seals, chakra flow, and sword alignment. Kuroka's agility and Shirone's instinctive perception made them quick learners. By the end of the day, they could perform basic chakra-enhanced strikes.

"Not bad at all," Roy said with a nod.

The girls beamed.

"We'll get stronger, Roy-sama! We'll protect the estate too!"

Training with the Sword Saint

Every morning and afternoon, Roy trained under Darius Valvas, who pushed him relentlessly.

"Your Ryūjin Jakka is impressive, but a Yaksha must fight beyond flame," Darius advised, watching Roy channel elemental and destructive powers simultaneously.

Over months, Roy mastered elemental fusion, combining fire, water, wind, and lightning in devastating, elegant forms. He learned to anticipate his grandfather's moves, eventually drawing every match to a perfect standstill.

By the end of the year, Ryūjin Jakka and Kyōka Suigetsu were extensions of his body, their Shikai and Bankai forms obeying thought alone.

Bonding with Friends

But not all time was spent training. Roy understood balance.

Sona Sitri, Seekvaira Agares, Latia Astaroth, Iryuka Glasya-Labolas, and sometimes Serafall Leviathan would play games, race across the gardens, or practice magical tag.

Serafall, though older and more composed, laughed freely alongside the children, occasionally teaching Roy tricks with ice and frost magic.

"Roy-kun, try to dodge this!" Serafall shouted, sending a small blizzard toward him.

Roy grinned, deflecting it with Ryūjin Jakka.

"Nice try, Serafall!"

The air often sparkled with energy—magic, laughter, and flames intertwining.

Even Grayfia Lucifuge spent quiet moments with him, sitting beneath the cherry blossoms, helping him meditate, channel energy, or refine his sword forms.

"You've grown so much," she murmured softly.

Roy's crimson-gold eyes met hers.

"Thanks to everyone... and you, Grayfia."

Growth Beyond Power

By the end of the year, Roy was no longer just a child prodigy or a reborn soul—he was the Yaksha of Valvas, a master swordsman, elemental prodigy, and teacher. His bonds with friends and allies had grown to something deeper than friendship:

Sona Sitri, Serafall Leviathan, Seekvaira Agares, Iryuka Glasya-Labolas, Latia Astaroth, and Grayfia Lucifuge all felt their hearts drawn to him, their feelings quietly blooming alongside his own growth.

The Nekomata sisters had become like little sisters, fiercely loyal and playful, always by his side in training or fun.

Even during moments of play, laughter, or shared meals, Roy's leadership, kindness, and resolve strengthened the Valvas household as much as his combat prowess.

A Quiet Evening

One evening, as the sun set, Roy stood atop the balcony overlooking the estate. Flames of Ryūjin Jakka danced harmlessly around his fingers.

He looked at the smiling faces below: friends, allies, and his ever-loyal Grayfia.

"I've avenged my parents," he whispered softly. "And I'll protect everyone I care about. No one will be able to hurt them ever again."

A gentle breeze carried the warmth of trust, affection, and unspoken promises.

The Yaksha of Valvas had grown—not just in strength, but in heart, bond, and purpose.

And though the Underworld, Heaven, and Kyoto were all aware of his rising legend, for now, he was simply Roy—a boy who laughed, played, trained, and loved, surrounded by those who cherished him in return.
