After that, he couldn't focus on reading his book anymore after meeting the mysterious girl dressed as a sexy bunny.
The bunny girl, who walked around unseen, left him as if the fairy spell had run out of its miracle.
Bunny Girl Cinderella. Just like Cinderella, she left something behind to prove her existence. Instead of sparkling gorilla glass high heels. He picked up a dropped item a black bunny headband and stored it in his inventory (bag).
Now…
Would he find her like the Prince did?
Hell no.
After a while, he arrived at the train station and went to the locker area to get his gym bag.
"That girl was hot though. Unfortunately, perverted isn't my cup of tea."
Saika never expected that such a pervert could actually exist in this world.
Furthermore, what kind of supernatural sorcery did she use to make people unable to see her?
"Sounds familiar… no, that should be the heroine's trait."
What series was that from? He tried to recall it, but it would take some time to remember.
His photographic memory didn't mean he could remember everything from his past life. It worked like files on a computer as he had to access them one by one.
However, he could restore his memories or skills simply by doing the related activity or recalling the right keywords.
For example, if he wanted to revive his cooking skills, all he had to do was go to the kitchen and start cooking. Sometimes it took a week, a day, or even a month, but it always worked for him.
Another example was triggering his memories with keywords. Take Totsuka Saika name, for instance he could remember the series thanks to that name.
Unfortunately, he was still quite shocked to have reincarnated as him, though he had finally gotten used to his strange body.
'I should've asked her name if I could have, but… she left before I got the chance. The probability doesn't add up at all. I've met tons of hotties like her at the airport, and I never saw them again,' Saika thought as he closed the locker.
Glancing to his side, he froze when his eyes locked with a girl's.
Meanwhile.
Looking down, she noticed a bunny ear headband in his hand.
Noticing where her gaze landed, he looked back at her, his eyes narrowing.
"…You're the perverted bunny girl Cinderella."
"I-I'm not! What the heck does Cinderella even mean!" she shouted, panicking.
People around them started staring because of her loud voice. Embarrassed, the girl lowered her head.
'People can see her…' Saika thought.
Maybe it was true that something strange was going on with her.
A girl with long black hair and a bunny hairpin on her bangs. A modest yet fashionable spring outfit. She was both beautiful and gave off the impression of an older sister.
'Is she the same person I met in the library?' Saika wondered.
With just a change of outfit, she seemed like a completely different person.
"Didn't I tell you to mind your own business? I had my own reasons."
Hearing this, his lips curled upward. "Sure," he said, turning to leave.
However, the girl grabbed his sleeve, "Stop. I-I'm not a pervert. Could you keep this a secret?"
Saika looked back and folded his arms. "Keep this a secret? You dressed like a sexy bunny girl in a public library. How is that a secret anymore?"
The girl coughed, her face turning red. "You don't have to worry. Others shouldn't be able to see me in that area anymore. Hah… except you, apparently." She shook her head in shame.
Saika couldn't accept such nonsense, so he looked around.
"Um… what are you doing?" she asked.
"Looking for a hidden camera."
A vein popped on the girl's forehead. "Please stop! This isn't a reality show or a prank!"
Saika stopped searching among the decorative plants and looked back at her.
She sighed. "Anyway, please forget what you saw. Also, don't tell anyone about this. I'm even willing to compensate you if you keep it a secret."
Saika blinked, his face going blank as if confused. "Media? Why would I do something so meaningless?"
"Huh? T-Then why are you pressuring me by calling me perverted? What do you want from me?"
Saika went silent for a while. 'Just who the hell is this star-syndrome girl?'
Noticing his expression, the girl hesitated, then asked, "By any chance, do you know who I am?"
"Uh… I don't."
The girl's whole face turned even redder.
"I… see…"
She suddenly looked deflated, her energy fading away. Seeing her head drop, Saika let out an awkward laugh.
'Ah, shit… did I make her feel bad? But it's true, I've got no clue who she is…'
He cleared his throat. "Uh… never mind. Look, I'll keep my mouth shut. Um, whoa, look at the time." He grabbed his bag strap and turned around. "Then… goodbye."
As Saika walked away, the girl stood there completely stunned.

Sitting on the train seat, she sighed inwardly.
Sakurajima Mai wasn't just a pretty gir she was a star who had played countless roles in movies and TV series. She had started her career at a young age, and people had known her since her child actress days. Even now, she remained a well known celebrity.
She was everywhere.
With all those achievements, there shouldn't be anyone who didn't know her name. Whenever people crossed paths with her, they would instantly recognize her or so she thought.
She had believed that when this guy saw her that time, he would know who she was. Mai also assumed that his reaction when he grabbed her wrist came from realizing that he might have seen Sakurajima Mai in a bunny suit.
But no. He was only curious about why people couldn't see her, not because Sakurajima Mai.
Mai thought about that as she looked at the man now. Sitting on the train bench, she glanced at him standing nearby, holding the handrail.
He was tall, wearing an oversized hoodie with the sleeves rolled up, revealing muscular forearms. Even the loose hoodie couldn't hide his large frame. His face was decent for her tase, maybe even good but his sharp eyes made him look intimidating. And to top it off, his personality was terrible.
'And he's stupid…'
Because right now, even though he was wearing earphones, it seemed he had forgotten to actually plug them in.
♪ Hajimemashite tokimeki ni yobarete. Doko made mo toberu you na Jump. Kimi no moto made. ♪
The cheerful, upbeat song blared loudly through the quiet train, a song that didn't suit him at all.
He looked so dumb and loud, yet the passengers around him seemed too afraid to say anything.
Arriving at the next station, Sakurajima Mai stepped out of the train with a sense of unease.
She glanced to the side and noticed that the guy she had met by coincidence stepped out as well.
Every now and then, she had to glance over her shoulder to make sure no one was following her, but that person seemed to keep walking behind her.
Mai stopped and turned around. "Excuse me," she said, facing him. "Can you stop following me?"
Saika frowned as he took off his earphones. "Why would I follow you?"
"Huh? You think I was born yesterday or something?"
"No, maybe you're just delusional. Whatever, I've got nothing to say."
Saika brushed past her, ignoring the situation, while Mai looked slightly hurt.
'If he were a stalker, he should at least know who I am… but he doesn't. Maybe just an act?'
After a while…
Saika and Mai found themselves staring at each other in front of their respective apartment doors.
Somehow, these two were neighbors.
"You live next door?!" Mai blurted out.
"What? I thought no one lived next to me," Saika said, just as confused.
Mai visibly gasped. 'Just stop acting already!' But when she looked closely at his expression, she could tell he wasn't faking it. After all, she was an actress.
After a deep sigh, Mai said, "Unfortunately, I live here. Sakurajima Mai."
Saika hummed. 'Mai…?' Something about that name clicked in his mind. The moment he heard it, a memory resurfaced, 'she's the girl from Bunny Girl Senpai, isn't she?!'
"What's your name? Are you in college, perhaps?" she asked.
Saika sighed inwardly. "I'm not. I'm Totsuka Saika by the way."
Mai tilted her head. "I see… wait, what? You aren't? Then you must be working?"
He clicked his tongue. "I'm a first-year in high school, damn it. Do I look that old?"
Mai frowned slightly. "My, you at least look twenty to me. So I'm older than you then?"
Saika's brow twitched. "Sure, sure… I don't care." He unlocked his door but stopped halfway, glancing back at her. "Uh, make sure not to wear anything lewd in the hallway. There are a lot of kids."
Mai gasped, her face flushing red. "W-What… hey! Why would I.... don't close the door when I'm talking to you! I told you I had a reason for it! I'm not a pervert!" she shouted, knocking on his door. Then she remembered, "Give it back! Return my headband, bastard! Don't keep that, you pervert!"
But since the apartment complex was very well-built and expensive her voice couldn't reach him, no matter how loud she yelled.
---
Mai couldn't sleep all night. She tossed and turned, then slammed her pillow in embarrassment.
"That bastard! I'm not perverted!"
Even though she had only met him today, she would've been fine if he hadn't looked at her like that.
"What's wrong with that guy? Aren't men supposed to be happy in that kind of situation?"
She expected him to at least blush or think something perverted about her. Even though she was on hiatus, that didn't mean she had become unattractive!
'He made fun of me without even hearing my story…'
She had her own reasons, yet he still mocked her.
'I hope he feels what I felt,' she thought, burying her face into the pillow.
