Author's Note

This author's note will loosely explain the basics of the story to understand it. It will cover

Drahan:

- Medieval-Themed Nation that is lush with magic and other fantastical beings.

- All sorts of races reside in Drahan, having the most diverse population.

- It takes up most of the western part of the continent. Xuya, Rubrein, and Othenia reside to the East while Daemarthia resides to the North of it.

- It is ruled by the King, who resides in the Capital City of Ashborne. Many major Towns and cities are governed by the King's feudal Lords called Barons. They are members of Noble families and they have their own armies that are typically called to arms by the Royal Family.

- [MAP WILL BE COMMENTED HERE]

Races: has the classic Fantasy Races.

- Human

- Elf (has its own subtypes of Elves)

- Orcs

- Tieflings

- Dwarves

- Fairfolk

Humans, Elves, Tieflings, and Orcs are the most common in Drahan. Only some Mountains contain Dwarves, as very few Forest areas contain the Fairfolk. Regardless, they are under Drahan jurisdiction and their "Monarchs" answer to the Drahan King.

Magic:

- Magic is the main power system of the world.

- There are many types of Magic, from Elemental Magic to Black and White Magic, which has their own subtypes. One of these subtypes is Necromancy, which is a Black Magic.

- The Fuel for Magic is called Magic Power, which is harnessed from within, granted by the Aether, which is the invisible form of the world's power.

Aspects:

- Aspects are powerful traits of Magic that separate the User's arsenal from the normal school/tree of magic.

- Aspects can dictate how a Mage's abilities take shape or form. For example, a Fire Mage may possess an Aspect that strictly has him summon Firebirds (Birds made out of flames) that he uses for combat. Depending on the level or passive that the Aspect has, the Firebirds can have very versatile potential during and out of combat.

- Some Aspects are strictly for having Passives, which can allow the User to have bonus physical or magical abilities that do not require any Magic Power to perform. Some of these Aspects can only have up to two Passives, which is still useful.

- Aspects vary in strength, and each Aspect has its own unique interaction. A Mage is recommended to have Aspects that complement each other, depending on the type of Magic they wield.

- To obtain Aspects and passives, Mages must either train to learn them or obtain them from Dungeon Relics that are quite rare. Many Adventurers search for the Relics, seeking Aspects that grant them incredible power.

These are the Aspect Levels (From weakest to strongest):

- Passive Aspect

- Basic Aspect (B-Rank)

- Advanced Aspect (A-Rank)

- Superior Aspect (S-Rank)

- Divine/Unholy Aspect (SS-Rank)

- Celestial Aspect (SSS-Rank)

Celestial Aspects are the rarest forms of Aspect and are considered to be the strongest.

Our Main Character, Rathiel, is a Necromancer. Particularly, a War Necromancer.

War Necromancy basically combines War Magic with Necromancy, but in Rathiel's case, it simply outfits his undead summons with modern warfare gear and weapons. This is specifically due to the type of War Magic that Rathiel learned at a young age, which he later combined with Necromancy that he was taught.

With his Unholy Aspect [Undead Legion], Rathiel's War Necromancy is quite different than others.

That said, his main form of combat is summoning his Skeletons and other Undead. There are many types of Skeletons, which should be known for now.

- Skeleton (Basic and weakest)

- Skeleton Warrior (Which is Rathiel's current level of Skeleton Summon)

- Superior Skeleton Warrior

- Skeleton Lord

Because Rathiel has the Undead Legion Aspect, his Skeleton Warriors are outifitted with modern warfare weaponry. Anything said other than is considered spoilers. [Read Story For More]

There are other Undead in Rathiel's legion, which are useful for his combat abilities.

Rathiel's Undead Legion doesn't just allow him to outfit his summons in warfare gear, he is able to summon weapons as well, should certain conditions are met.

Not only that, he is able to manipulate the corpses of others to create grotesque forms of weaponry that are imbued with Necrotic Power.

Necrotic Power: Unholy Power that is wielded by the Underworld. It is the strongest power that a Necromancer can use in their arsenal.

All of that said, Rathiel is known as "The War Necromancer" and is currently a year into his "Hero" journey. He has spent most of the year terrorizing Bandits and having sex with women.

And now, his journey hits a reset.

And he currently seeks revenge.
