End goal: Balerion vows privately that he'll command both halves of himself or die trying.
Cliffhanger: mysterious pain and visions under the twin moons — his blood begins to boil.
ARC 2 — Trial of Twin Bloods (Ch. 51–120)
Theme: awakening, destiny, rebellion
Core events
Preparations for his 18th birthday Rite of Blood and Flame, a coming-of-age test unique to hybrids.
The rite goes wrong: both bloodlines erupt, nearly tearing his body apart.
During a near-death trance, he enters the Primordial Dream, meets fragments of Vythrax the Dragon God and Crimson Mother Lilith — each demands fealty.
Instead, he refuses both. His will forces them to kneel, creating the Draconyric Genesis.
The ritual site explodes; divine observers take notice.
Mid-arc romance beat: Selene shields his unconscious form from assassins, drinking his blood to heal him — forming the first Crimson Bond.
End: He awakens changed — scales of dusk-red obsidian, eyes of molten gold and blood.
ARC 3 — Birth of the Draconyric (Ch. 121–180)
Theme: first power, identity, temptation

Balerion learns to stabilize his new bloodline through devouring corrupted beasts.
His physical limits vanish; his mana veins heal; his aura forces lower beings to bow.
He trains secretly in the Obsidian Wastes, mastering "Devourer's Crest" and "Abyssal Sky Wings."
Political fallout: both Dragon Council and Vampire Nobility send envoys — some want alliance, others want his head.
Selene accompanies him into a dungeon where he rescues her from a collapsing blood-forge — emotional turning point.
End: He returns to the academy, publicly defeats his old tormentor in front of nobles, announcing:
"I am no longer your half-breed shadow."
ARC 4 — Crimson Flame War (Ch. 181–250)
Theme: chaos, family, betrayal
Core events
A civil war ignites between pro-Dragon and pro-Vampire factions.
Balerion is accused of causing divine instability.
His mother and father reveal demi-god-level power to stop the war, but rival gods manipulate the conflict to test him.
Balerion commands legions using his hybrid authority, earning the title "The Devouring Prince."
Selene's clan betrays her to curry favor with enemies; Balerion razes their betrayers' fortress to ash.
End: His power draws divine attention; a god's projection descends and marks him as "Anomaly to be erased."
ARC 5 — He Who Devours the Sky (Ch. 251–300)
Theme: transcendence, love, divine interference
Core events
The god's trial: Balerion must survive seven days under divine suppression.
He fuses dragon flame and vampire night into the Eclipse Form — half blazing sun, half void.
He defeats the god's avatar, devouring its divine fragment; first step toward demi-godhood.
Selene's loyalty and love stabilize his mind as divine energy threatens to consume him.
His parents ascend temporarily to protect the realm, leaving Elyndra in his care.
Climax: Balerion spreads obsidian wings across the sky, declaring the birth of a new bloodline age.
Ending tease: whispers from the Astral Zenith—"The Draconyric has awakened. Begin the Hunt."
