Alaric pushed open the mansion door, and dust came flying out. He covered his nose in time, but the others were unfortunate and breathed it in then they all flew into a coughing fit.
"Alaric, this place is inhabitable," Bethany said while wiping her tears.
"If you'd just give it a chance, Beth, you will like it," he said as he took the lead to enter the house.
They all followed behind him exclaiming while looking at the wide ceiling with surprise and the decorations and details.
"It looks kind of old, will it be able to stand for long?" Blue asked as they reached the lobby.
"Yes, it's why the inspector was here yesterday," Alaricanswered, knocking on the wall. "It passed the approval."
"Ooh, that was fast. They always come two days after," Bethany chimed in.
Alan also found it weird that they had arrived a few hours just after he bought it. They must really be monitoring the place.
