Hi everyone! I know it's been a while since the last update.
First of all, I want to give you a quick life update. Life has been hitting me pretty hard lately, especially with all the hurdles and stress of trying to pay for my surgery. But I finally have some good news: I managed to officially book a date for the operation! Things are slowly getting back to normal, and I finally have some free time and peace of mind.
With that free time, I sat down to reread my own work and made a big decision.
I realized that as time went on, the writing quality of this story dropped significantly. Since I was making things up as I went along, I kept adding plot holes without even realizing they were there. It was a mistake on my part as a novice writer, and considering all the incredible support you guys have given this story, I felt you—and the characters—deserved much better.
Because of that, I have decided to completely rewrite this fic.
I want to improve the quality, fix those plot holes, and give the story the depth I originally intended. The new, corrected, and vastly improved version is already posted on my profile.
I will leave this original version up as a memory (and so you can see the difference in quality, haha), but all future updates and the actual canon story from now on will continue in the new work.
