Chapter 73 - Chapter 71

Karl admitted he had a bit of a Dark Elf fetish; the oily sheen of their brown skin after being oiled would really get to him. His hand glided over Hill's slender waist.

His palm felt the texture of the uniform fabric; her waist was very thin.

Hill fulfilled all his fantasies about Dark Elves. The only regret was that while her backside was very shapely, it wasn't plump, likely because they were assassins.

It would be impossible to run around with too much fat in reality.

Hill's office lady uniform skirt, along with her sheer black stockings, slid to the floor. She was wearing high heels, and even in her current posture, leaning on the table, she exuded an elegant aura.

Karl's fingers moved upwards from her thigh; the sheer black stockings covered smooth brown skin.

"You don't usually wear anything underneath?"

"Do I need to?" Hill retorted.

Karl paused, then understood. The sheer black stockings in this world were woven from demonic spider silk. To Hill, the sheer black stockings were underwear.

With only the sheer black stockings directly against her skin, the tactile sensation, in addition to the visual, was indeed elevated to another level.

He wasn't in a hurry to tear the stockings. His palm explored through the black stockings.

Hill felt Karl's hand and frowned slightly. As a Dark Elf, she didn't like such gentle caresses. Violence, compulsion, and power were what brought her pleasure.

Of course, she was also willing to cooperate with Karl. As long as Karl liked it, she could perfectly feign being a shy little girl.

She began to sway her waist slightly with Karl's hand, actively rubbing her stockings against his palm like a kitten, showing a look of wanting to be touched more.

Hill calculated in her mind what kind of performance would please him without seeming artificial.

But soon, she clearly felt waves of itching from the places he was touching. She instinctively wanted to yield to Karl's fingers.

This reaction immediately brought her back from her thoughts.

Hill felt it in surprise and quickly confirmed it wasn't an illusion; even through the stockings, she was actually starting to feel something.

This strange discovery made Hill doubt herself.

It was like someone who usually enjoyed heavy NTR (Netorare) plots suddenly found sexual interest in pure romance, even more intensely than before.

Karl didn't know Hill was already caught in self-doubt, but he clearly saw the skill's effect. Providing double wasn't a simple 1+1 as it seemed.

Now, he merely traced his fingers along the seams of the black stockings, and the color of the stockings had already darkened considerably.

"Interesting."

Karl noticed the subtle changes on Hill's face and her subconscious desire to touch his fingers more.

This was the value of double sensitivity.

"Rip!"

The sound of stockings being torn.

"Oh?" Hill clearly felt his movements were very slow, even gentle, yet they brought her a stronger stimulation than usual.

The whole process wasn't long.

Karl just wanted to experiment with gentle practical application, and the effect was better than he expected, even if it was just the most primitive pushing and pulling from behind.

Hill was clearly very much in the moment.

Half an hour later.

Hill put her bodycon skirt back on. Karl had only torn a small hole in her stockings, and she was too lazy to throw them away. After tidying her uniform, she gave Karl a simple bow and turned to leave quickly.

She was panicking now, losing control over her body, which made her uneasy.

Karl watched her retreating figure, taking in her expression. He rarely saw this Dark Elf show such an expression. It seemed that doubling her sensitivity was stronger than he had anticipated.

Just then, Hill's hurried footsteps clattered outside again.

She pushed the door open and returned, her expression serious: "Two members of the Black Scorpion Mercenary Group suddenly appeared at the city gate, causing dozens of casualties."

Upon hearing this, Karl's face instantly darkened. He stood up abruptly: "Let's go."

Although he was known as a tyrant, having executed thousands of people in just one month, these were still residents under his protection. Others couldn't kill them… On the street, a three-meter-tall beast with bloodthirsty eyes glowed. It raised its head and cackled towards the sky: "Karl, come out! I'll twist your neck!"

The surrounding scene was gruesome, houses torn apart by immense force, rubble scattered everywhere.

On the ground, bloodstains were everywhere, and dozens of soldiers' bodies lay haphazardly, their unclosed eyes still showing the fear they felt in life.

A circle of soldiers tightly surrounded the beast, their weapons clutched firmly, but their faces were ashen white.

"Hahahaha!" The monster let out another deafening laugh. It suddenly grabbed a soldier.

The soldier let out a desperate scream.

The monster slammed the soldier heavily to the ground. When it lifted its hand, there was a puddle of gore on the ground: "Surrender, your useless City Lord can't protect you."

The surrounding soldiers involuntarily recoiled a step, their expressions terrified and uneasy.

"Boring, low-level provocation." Hill stood high up: "The Black Scorpion Mercenary Group, Bear. A Behemoth from the Beast race, possessing terrifying strength and regenerative abilities. His companion should be hiding nearby."

She felt this provocation was too low-level and wouldn't be effective.

When Hill turned her head, she found that Karl by her side had vanished.

Karl's figure had already appeared on top of the three-meter-tall bear's head. He held up a massive arm, a ferocious dragon claw two meters long, muscles bulging like cast iron.

From above, he slammed it fiercely onto the bear's face. This strike was too fast and too powerful; the bear didn't even have time to react.

Its massive body was hammered backward by the blow, crashing heavily to the ground with a deafening roar.

Its head was driven backward into the ground, creating a deep crater.

"Stop!" A furious roar suddenly erupted, attempting to distract Karl. Immediately after, the human swordsman, Golden Scorpion, burst out from the shadows, wielding a sharp sword, pointing it directly at Karl.

The next second, Karl's figure suddenly appeared in front of Golden Scorpion.

His giant claw grasped Golden Scorpion's body, and he slammed Golden Scorpion fiercely into the recently risen Behemoth, stacking the two together and smashing them heavily into the ground.

"Bang!" A loud crash echoed, as if the entire earth trembled.

The man and the bear, stacked together, were savagely smashed into the ground by Karl's giant claw, forming a deep indentation.

Karl's expression was as cold as frost. He raised his massive dragon claw, lifting and slamming it down again and again, each time accompanied by deafening thudding sounds.

The scene became silent. All the soldiers involuntarily swallowed their saliva.

They watched Karl repeatedly hammer his targets.

Until the flesh and mud in the pit mixed together, becoming indistinguishable.

Most of Golden Scorpion's body and the bear's head were reduced to pulp.

Karl stopped his attack, his expression calm: "Is that all?"

Hill appeared beside him, her expression odd. She needed to reassess Karl's strength once more. These two members of the Black Scorpion Mercenary Group died quite unjustly; most likely, their plan was too thorough, leading to them being hammered to death before their strength could even be displayed.

Chapter 116: Thousand-Layered Schemes

Karl's black dragon claw on his right arm disappeared, blood and mud mixed together, dark red blood flowing to his feet.

The surrounding soldiers looked at their City Lord with more fear than reverence.

This was the first time Karl had displayed his strength in front of ordinary soldiers.

Karl's gaze swept over the bodies of the fallen soldiers on the ground: "The families of all fallen soldiers will receive pensions. The elderly will be cared for by the government, and their Children will be sent to the official training class first."

The surrounding soldiers, upon hearing Karl's words, were first stunned, then the fear in their eyes was gradually replaced by fanaticism.

Someone shouted, "Long live the City Lord!"

Then came a thunderous roar.

The fear brought by the two strong individuals quickly transformed into admiration for Karl. Everyone's morale soared, as if they were ready to fight to the death for Karl at any moment.

Hill's mouth twitched. She knew this so-called official training class all too well.

It was likely that the Children raised by the government, after their training, would become officials, and eight out of ten would eventually be executed and have their property confiscated. Yet, their families would still be grateful to Karl.

Hill looked at Karl's handsome and refined appearance again. This guy was definitely a demon.

"The injured must be sent for medical treatment immediately." Hill skillfully directed the aftermath. The soldiers sprang into action, some busy carrying the wounded, others beginning to clear the battlefield.

Under Hill's command, everything was orderly.

Karl also put on a show of comforting the injured soldiers, talking earnestly with them, moving the wounded to tears of excitement.

Meanwhile, inside his clothes, tiny white ribbons swiftly interwoven, forming a thick armor within. Even his neck was cleverly thickened.

According to intelligence, the Black Scorpion Mercenary Group consisted of two males and one female. He intended to create an opportunity for his opponent.

He began to question the soldiers about their food and training. The soldiers, unaccustomed to such attention, were so moved they almost knelt in loyalty.

He was also surrounded by countless soldiers.

In that instant, a black shadow, like a ghost, silently stabbed towards him with astonishing speed.

Karl had been observing his surroundings and noticed the anomaly immediately. As a dragon, he possessed dynamic vision far superior to humans.

The moment he saw the black shadow, his cheek was instantly covered by a white face mask.

The skill "Formless" had been used by him with utmost proficiency since reaching the fourth tier.

Hill's movements were even faster. She flashed, blocking Karl with her body.

A tearing sound was heard.

The mysterious woman's purple nails plunged fiercely into Hill's abdomen.

Hill gritted her teeth, grabbing the woman's arm. A cold glint flashed as she held a dagger, and the woman's arm was cleanly severed.

With her arm cut off, the woman cried out in pain and turned to flee.

"?" A question mark appeared above Karl's head. He saw Hill blocking him and assumed she had a countermeasure, so he didn't intervene.

The result was her using her body to shield him.

"What the heck?!" Karl's face darkened. What was this Dark Elf doing? Weren't they supposed to be in a relationship of mutual exploitation?

What was this nonsense about using her body to take a blade for him?

An inexplicable anger rose within him. His figure instantly vanished from its spot, reappearing behind the mysterious woman.

His fist came down from above with brutal force, slamming heavily into the woman's waist.

"Crack!" A crisp sound, that of bones breaking.

The woman let out a desperate cry of pain, her body folded unnaturally, her spine shattered by the blow, as she was slammed hard onto the ground.

At this moment, the surrounding soldiers finally recovered from their shock. They shouted: "Protect the City Lord!"

They quickly gathered around.

Karl had already reached Hill's side. He embraced her, watching her anxiously.

Hill's eyes were unfocused, her lips black, and her face pale, devoid of any color.

Karl's heart sank. Even without specific knowledge, he knew Hill had been poisoned: "I'll take you to the church!"

He wasn't sure if the church could treat venom.

But there was no other choice at the moment.

However, Hill grabbed his hand, her voice weak: "Be… be kind to my blood relatives…"

She had used all her strength to utter that sentence, her eyes slowly closing: "I'm a bit tired…"

"Hey, hold on, you're not that easy to die!" Karl gripped Hill's hand tightly. He noticed Hill's eyes were gradually losing focus, which made him even more anxious.

Just then, a Dark Elf nearby quickly approached.
