Chapter 6 - Warrior 3: Hey, Dragon!

"Fwoom" As a massive wave of fire was produced, swallowing a chunks of the tall mountain down that was under a snow storm, the ice and fall of snow from all melted fast into gas.

A small figure was then seen twirling his body around and tip toe hopping down towards the mountain with precise instincts and calculations in his every actions. Each step he landed was cold accurate, yet his every breathe was heavy and weighing his already weary body as the coldness in his body disappeared, replaced with a heat that burns away all the thoughts in his mind leading to the basic caricature of flight and fight response towards the current situation.

His brown eyes was sharp, his demeanour was that of extreme focused. "Sizzle Sizzle" part of his white cloak that covered his body caught some flames from the edges and was now burning, along with nearly his black hair on a breathe distance. But still, he nonetheless kept the same wary look towards the source of the flames for further future actions, else he get caught off guard, all while holding onto his precious equipments, especially the small bags on his body.

A dangerous minute of dodging and evading by Ethan had passed ever since he jumped from the top ledge, but the series and wave of flames have yet to stop, and continually tried to swallow him over and over again. Ethan's face was then slowly forming soots and burned marks due to the close proximity of the flames he was forced to continuously share despite his desperate act to get as far away as possible. Irritated, but frightened all the same, Ethan clenched his fists tightly before he then decided within a momentary of a unbothered of a second as he landed on another small ledge that gave him one, he pulled out the sword on his back while still attached to the scabbard before making a powerful declaration with his arm from below going up swiftly strong over his head.

"BOOM" a defeaning sonic boom along with a massive gust of wind that washed away everything was produced. The storm of snow halted for a moment, the mountain shook a bit where an avalanche from their sides cascaded down, and the wave of flames that nearly ate Ethan was split in half, disappeared just as fast by his powerful slash, all in clear of any obstructions for Ethan's views.

There, on the small ledge below stood weary, but strong, was the figure of a Warrior facing with his chin up up ahead towards him was a massive Dragon staring back at him with its large eyes.

The Dragon slippery moved its head with its long neck as if scanning and inspecting its small prey from above along with the nail from its back. Its white scales all over its body nearly blended in well with its snowy surrounding, but the signs of destruction and flames made it not, and its six limbs was then mightly declared before Ethan, whom was both in awe and fear.

"What did i get myself into?" He whispered underneath his breathe.

"Hey! Dragon! I have no business with you, just let me be and we can go peacefully on our own seperate ways, i even say please!" He then shouted immediately after with clear, desperate, and honest pleas of a person with no clear intention of fighting. The Dragon, however, glared still intently with its large eyes at Ethan. A few seconds have passed of no responss, Ethan couldn't help but noticed the scratches and wounds all over its body. Its wings was barring holes, a lot of the dragon's scales was missing and removed. Some of its claws from its limbs was broken and bleeding. The bits and pieces of these informations coming into him made Ethan dropped a bead of sweat from his head as he gulped his mouth, and uncertainty blooms in his mind.

"Is it too young still, can it not communicate yet? Why does it has so many wounds?" With his limited knowledge over the certain creature, he then tried to deduce parts of it, but feeling unlucky, he could only think of the bad traits that might appear to be unfavorable towards him. "Hey, Dragon! Answer me, dammit!" the Dragon, still unresponded as the storm of snow bit by bit around them started to come back.

'If worse comes to shove, i don't think i would have the energy to actually fight this one! I have had yet to have a proper rest from traveling nonstop since this is the North, civilizations are far away from each other, and the conditions are extremely unfavorable... But most of all, that's a clear adult dragon who wanted to kill or eat me! What a stroke of bad luck- Tsk!' tsking upon himself, he gripped the sword in his hand tightly as he raised his fighting spirit.

"If there's really no choice in this dire situation of mine, then i..."
