"Tian, kiss me now." Shen Yueyan said as she tapped her left cheek with her index finger.
She called him by his birth name because they were pretending to be a couple. If she called him by his full name like usual, Xiu would be suspicious about their relationship.
Ling Tian understood right away.
For this reason, he didn't react strangely when she called him by his birth name.
'You can't blame me later as this is your idea.'
He slowly brought his face closer to hers.
When his lips were about to touch her cheeks, his heart suddenly beat fast.
'What's going on?'
A question popped up in his mind.
'Am I in love with her? Or is it because we are pretending to be lovers?'
He believed his predecessor was not in love with her, so he could not understand what was going on with him.
When his lips pressed against her tender cheek, her sweet scent wafted into his nose.
If he had no experience with women, her fragrance could have driven him crazy because her soft scent was enough to awaken the wild beast within him.

He kept saying the same words in his mind as if he were chanting a magic spell.
Once Ling Tian broke the kiss, Xiu smiled and said, "It's your turn now, miss."
Shen Yueyan turned to him and cupped his handsome face.

However, she didn't stop and kept bringing her face closer to his as she needed to kiss him to get what she wanted.

She got carried away, so she didn't break the kiss immediately.
Ling Tian was taken aback when she didn't separate her lips from his cheek right away.

She didn't stop Shen Yueyan on purpose because she wanted to know how long she would kiss him.
Once Shen Yueyan came to her senses, she broke the kiss immediately.
'I got carried away.'
She glanced at Ling Tian to see his reaction.

She let out a sigh of relief when he only smiled softly at her.
She then shifted her gaze to Xiu and asked, "Miss, we have fulfilled the condition, right?"
"Yes," Xiu replied with a gentle smile. "I will double-check your order: one Fruit Parfait and one Love Drink, correct?"
"Yes." Shen Yueyan replied in a happy voice.
Xiu grabbed a wooden table number and said, "Please take the table number. Your order will be ready in five minutes."
"Un." Shen Yueyan nodded.
Then, Ling Tian and Shen Yueyan walked to an empty seat and sat down, facing each other.
"The atmosphere feels better when it rains." She said as she stared at the lake.
"Yes." Ling Tian agreed.
"Ling Tian, don't call me Nurse Shen when we are here." She said in a low voice. "Call me Yueyan. And you must act like my boyfriend."
"Alright." He nodded.
Then, the duo quietly enjoyed the rainy view of the lake.
When she glanced at him, she suddenly remembered what she had done a minute ago.
'Why did my heart beat fast when I kissed him?'
She still didn't understand it.
'Is it because he is an attractive man? Or is it because we are pretending to be lovers?'
She tried to find the answer.
"Hmm?" Ling Tian turned to her when he noticed she kept looking at him. "Yueyan, why do you keep looking at me? Is there something on my face?"
Shen Yueyan's heart pounded as she saw his gentle gaze and heard the softness of his voice.
'Her heart is fluttering again.'
She didn't answer his question and kept staring at him as if she were looking at the most handsome man in the world.
'Why does his voice and gaze affect me like this? Am I in love with him? But isn't it too fast for me to have a special feeling for him?'
Sure, she admitted that he was the most attractive man she had ever met in her life.
But it was too fast for her to fall in love with him, especially when they had only met twice outside of campus.

As she tried to find the answer, Ling Tian noticed Xiu walking toward them with their order.
Since he wanted them to look like a real couple who enjoyed their time together, he reached for her right hand and slipped his fingers between hers.

'Why is he suddenly holding my hand?'
She had not noticed Xiu, so she didn't know the meaning behind his actions.
"Miss, Sir, here are your order." Xiu put the Fruit Parfait and Love Drink on the table carefully.
'Oh! They are holding hands while enjoying the scenery around here?'
Her lips curled up into a smile when she noticed it.
However, she said nothing and continued to serve them professionally.
At this moment, Shen Yueyan finally understood everything.
'I see.'
She didn't know why, but for some reason, disappointment emerged within her.
"Please enjoy." Xiu said with a professional smile.
"Thank you." Ling Tian replied as he smiled.
Xiu took the table number and returned to the cashier's desk.
As soon as Xiu left, Ling Tian let go of Shen Yueyan's hand.
Shen Yueyan suddenly felt the warm feeling inside her vanish. She understood he did it to cover up their lies.
But deep down, a part of her wished he would keep holding her hand.
