Chapter 47 - Take Action

Zofia sat down in the empty seat to Saeko Busujima's left. Not long after she sat, Koichi Shido stood up and walked over to Saeko, asking if she was the leader.

Saeko wiped her wooden sword with a cloth. "We don't have a leader. We're just helping each other to survive."

"That won't do!"

"To survive, a leader is necessary."

"A leader who bears all responsibility is essential."

Hearing Koichi Shido's words, everyone in the bus who still had some sense immediately understood what kind of man he was.

Zofia sneered with disdain.

To be a leader, one needed true strength or exceptional wisdom—not just a silver tongue.

"What do you think, miss?"

Koichi Shido turned his gaze toward Zofia, sitting on the other side.

All three women were beautiful, and judging by their composure, clearly capable fighters. If he could bring them into his group…

The more he thought about it, the more his imagination ran wild. His expression turned lecherous, his eyes burning as he looked at Zofia.

"You'd better not provoke me," Zofia said coldly, her tone sharp with warning. "Otherwise, I'll shatter every bone in your body."

"..."

Koichi Shido fell silent.

He wasn't stupid. These three mysterious women were clearly not the type to be handled with words.

If they couldn't be controlled, he'd have to find a way to eliminate them.

The bus continued moving forward.

Suddenly, a blond-haired student stood up and shouted, "Hey! If we keep going, we'll just be heading into danger!"

"And why do we have to stick with Komuro's group anyway?"

"You're the ones who decided to go back into the city!"

...

The blond student turned his anger toward Takashi Komuro, irritating Shizuka Marikawa, who slammed the brakes in frustration. A scuffle broke out.

The blond student was swiftly taken down by Rei Miyamoto, who stabbed him in the gut, leaving him clutching his stomach and vomiting bile.

Koichi Shido clapped his hands and stepped forward, spewing meaningless words as he declared himself a teacher—capable of leading them all.

Clap clap clap!!!

The students seated at the back of the bus, faces full of blind admiration, eagerly applauded.

"Majority rules. I'm the leader now."

Koichi Shido spread his arms proudly, his smug grin disgusting to behold.

"Enough of this nonsense."

Zofia couldn't stand it anymore. She picked up her baseball bat and swung it down hard on the man's thigh!

"Pathetic fool. Acting tough in front of me."

"Ahhh!"

The scream echoed through the entire bus.

Koichi Shido collapsed to his knees, clutching his leg in agony, convulsing from the pain.

The other students on the bus froze in shock.

What just happened? Why did this woman suddenly attack him?

Zofia didn't stop just because he was down. She raised her bat again and struck once more.

"Stop it!"

Takashi Komuro tried to intervene, but it made no difference.

Zofia's bat came crashing down again.

Crack!

Koichi Shido's arm snapped under the blow.

She broke every one of his limbs.

"AAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Koichi Shido screamed at the top of his lungs, writhing on the floor in agony.

The students in the back turned pale, trembling all over.

This woman was terrifying.

"Stop!"

Takashi Komuro, moved by misplaced compassion, reached out to stop her—but Westminster, still seated, casually swung her sword.

In an instant, Takashi's entire arm was severed, blood spraying violently and splattering across Rei Miyamoto's face, leaving her frozen in horror.

"AAAAHHH! My arm! My arm!!"

Komuro clutched the bleeding stump with his remaining hand, his face twisted with terror as he fell to his knees.

"Enough!"

Saeko Busujima finally snapped, standing up from her seat. She pressed the tip of her wooden sword against Zofia's throat and demanded coldly, "Who are you people?"

Zofia hadn't killed Koichi Shido—she had merely crushed his limbs, both his eggs, and all his teeth.

The scene was horrific—blood everywhere, the stench thick in the air.

Any ordinary person would've wet themselves in fear.

However—

Saeko Busujima was no ordinary person. Deep inside, she felt a thrill—a perverse excitement. Her thighs pressed together as a faint shiver ran through her body.

Rvy quietly observed Saeko's expression and body language.

It was obvious.

Saeko Busujima was a hardcore sadist—a woman with a severe tendency toward violence.

"This wooden sword of yours won't work on me."

Zofia's slender hand reached out and gripped Saeko's wooden blade. With a firm squeeze—

Crack!

The solid wooden sword shattered in her grasp. She kneaded the broken half in her palm, then let go, letting the crushed wood fragments fall to the floor.

Saeko's pupils contracted, disbelief flashing across her face.

Was that kind of grip strength even possible for a human girl?!

The purity of her physical body was off the charts!

The wooden sword wasn't some cheap, rotten stick either—it was the same one she'd used moments ago to crush zombie skulls!

"None of you move."

Kohta Hirano aimed his modified nail gun at Rvy's head. Earlier, he had seen Westminster's rapier slice through Takashi's arm—formed entirely from countless particles in an instant.

What the hell?!

Had humanity's secret technology really advanced this far?!

Was that sword some kind of nanotech weapon?!

As a military otaku, he knew his weapons—but this was on another level.

Even with the gun aimed at her, Rvy showed no fear. She turned toward Zofia with a teasing grin. "Save me~ I'm so scared~ Help me, please~!"

Zofia's lips twitched. She wanted nothing more than to kick this woman straight off the bus.

Quit the act, damn it!

"..."

Westminster facepalmed, utterly speechless.

She regretted teaming up with this woman.

Saya Takagi frowned deeply as she watched the exchange. Kohta's nail gun was powerful enough to kill—but why weren't these three even remotely afraid?

Did they not believe the weapon could harm them?

No... that wasn't it.

She glanced at the maimed Koichi Shido and the one-armed Takashi Komuro.

Just then, Westminster spoke up. "There's a bus full of zombies heading straight for us."

"Shizuka Marikawa, back up the bus a little."

"Eh? How do you know my name? Do we know each other?"

"Is this really the time to be asking that?"

"Oh, right!"

The airheaded Shizuka turned her gaze back to the road. At first glance, there was nothing there.

"I don't see any bus."

"If I say there is, then there is. Unless you want to get hit, start reversing—now."

"O-okay..."

Trusting her words, Shizuka started the bus and reversed a short distance.

Moments later, a speeding, out-of-control bus appeared in their view—crashing and flipping over nearby. The entire vehicle burst into flames, and seven or eight burning zombies crawled out from the wreckage.

"There really was a bus! How did you know?"

Shizuka stared in astonishment.

"Just a guess," Westminster replied flatly.

This blonde, big-busted woman named Shizuka Marikawa was far too much of an airhead.
