Staircase at the end of the third floor
Li Mùchén and his subordinate, Li Zhōng Yì—who had grown up beside Li Mùchén and was adopted into the family after his mother died while saving him—were walking down when they suddenly heard calls for help. The cries were coming from the last room on the south side of the second floor.
Li Mùchén frowned slightly. "Go and check what's going on."
"Yes!" Li Zhōng Yì nodded immediately. The spies they had stationed at the Li household quickly returned with news.
"Master, we have discovered that it is the only son of the Xiāo family. He is doing something inappropriate to a little Omega boy named Yibai. The boy must have offended someone."
"Yibai?" Li Mùchén raised his eyebrows, wondering. He had never heard the name before.
"Yes," Li Zhōng Yì responded, then asked, "Do we need to help?"
Li Mùchén glanced at him with a faint, unreadable expression. "Are you that free?"
Li Zhōng Yì immediately abandoned his intention to help and shook his head. "No! I am just being a busybody meddling in other people's business. You just returned to City M; you don't need to get involved in such dirty business. Please, be careful on the steps."
Li Mùchén looked away indifferently and continued downstairs.

In the Lounge
Most of Yibai's clothes were torn apart by Xiāo Mǐnxuān; his blazer was forcefully ripped and thrown aside on the bed. His silk shirt was shredded, the buttons flying in different directions after being yanked to expose his snow-white skin—a sight that made Xiāo Mǐnxuān even more excited.
"Young Master Su, you may be ugly, but I must say your figure and skin are to my liking!" He grabbed Yibai's neck and leaned over to kiss him.
However, just when his lips were about to touch Yibai's skin, a heavy punch slammed into his face, knocking him senseless for a moment. In shock, he looked down at Yibai, who had managed to free one of his hands. The boy's wrist was bruised and cut, with blood dripping down his fingers.
"You... you..." Xiāo Mǐnxuān was horrified. Where did he get the strength? That rope was extremely strong!
Before he could fully react, Yibai swung his fist again, sending the Alpha flying off the bed. Yibai took advantage of the opening to quickly untie the remaining rope and free his other hand.
Once free, Yibai picked up the lamp on the bedside table, ready to strike. But in that instant, dizziness washed over him—the bone-softening powder was attacking his senses again, leaving him powerless. Yibai lost his strength in an instant, and the lamp in his hand fell to the floor with a loud bang.
Seeing this, Xiāo Mǐnxuān hurriedly got up from the ground and lunged, grabbing Yibai's hair.
"Filthy runt! How dare you sneak up on me! It seems you really won't shed tears until you see your coffin! I will definitely kill you today!" He dragged Yibai and threw him onto the bed again.
Yibai struggled, but his head was so dizzy and his vision so blurred that there were three versions of Xiāo Mǐnxuān in front of him.

It was Li Mùchén! Hearing that familiar voice, Yìbái was in a trance for a moment, thinking he was hallucinating because of the drugs. But he quickly came back to his senses, took out the silver needle he carried with him, and stabbed his acupuncture point accurately. His eyes regained clarity.
"I'm fine."
"Who are you?! Let me go!" Xiāo Mǐnxuān struggled on the ground.
A flash of anger appeared in Li Mùchén's eyes, and he uttered one word coldly: "Hit."
As the word fell, the two bodyguards directly pressed Xiāo Mǐnxuān to the ground and started beating him up.
"Ah—it hurts! Stop! Stop! I said stop hitting!" Xiāo Mǐnxuān shrieked. "Yibai, you little runt, don't you regret this! Except for me, no Alpha in the entire country will be willing to take you to bed! You should be grateful that I, Xiāo Mǐnxuān, even considered bedding you. You dare to let these people beat me up? Yìbái was slightly surprised. He remembered this name; she was a well-known female Alpha politician in City M. Even the Li family spoke to her politely.
