"You two children! What do you think you are doing?"
The moment Amon and Helena clashed, a loud, tired voice cut through the air.
Amon was momentarily stupefied.
Hearing the voice, his movements paused, and Helena stalled as well.
Together, they turned in the direction of the old lady who was walking out.
She glanced around at the blood-stained clouds and exclaimed in shock.
Then, her gaze fell onto Amon, who seemed to have lost his sanity.
Noticing the cuts and bruises on his skin, she was astonished and pained internally.
Helena glanced at the old lady without any emotion in her eyes as she noticed the granny walking towards Amon.
There was a part of Amon urging him to continue attacking. However, another part of him became calm and serene, sending the messy thoughts to the back of his mind gradually.
"Amon, boy," the granny called out as she walked up to Amon and finally patted him.
Dazed, Amon's eyes slowly regained their clarity…
