Her heart raced to the roof. It was more than just that, more than just anything really. She turned around swiftly, filled with fear that she couldn't process. She liked to believe that he wasn't there behind her. That this obstacle behind her didn't exit. Taht it was nothing.
That's it was nothing but I mind playing tricks now. That's it was nothing but a mere obstacle I was emitting warmth from behind her. That he wasn't truly there.
Indeed, she would like to think many things. Stupid things. Delusional things. Everything. Everything and anything. just to make herself believe that this wasn't happening. But it was whether she liked it or not. Or was it?
This could just be on my mind playing tricks on her. So she tried to move. But then the obstacle would not go away. Also wasn't this stupid?
She had heard him speak. Yet she would like to think it was an all in her mind. That it was the pessimism creeping up on her again.
