Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 — The Madness of Yaz Ark: Hulk vs. the Modia

General Ross leaned back in his chair, the glow from the holographic monitor reflecting across his stern face. Though he claimed it was "intuition," he had already pieced together a pattern from the recent assassination cases. Two powerful underground figures—the President of Blackwater International and the infamous Kingpin—had been brutally killed within days. Both controlled vast networks, influence, and weapons. Blackwater alone could topple a small African government with a single order.

Kingpin, meanwhile, ruled the New York underworld like an uncrowned emperor.

Yet both men died without struggle—wiped off the map as if swatted by an invisible hand.

But Levi survived.

Not only did he survive—he calmly removed all traces, cleaned the battlefield, left nothing behind.

General Ross had seen real battlefields.

He had fought world-class enemies.

He knew Levi's behavior was not normal.

A man with no known combat ability should not survive where two giants fell. Unless…

He was hiding something. Something far beyond the Modia Units publicly shown.

That was why Ross approached Levi—not only to test his Modia army, but also to provoke the real weapon hiding behind him.

"Let's see what secrets you're keeping, Levi," Ross thought quietly.

Across from him, Levi read these intentions instantly. Ross wasn't subtle—his eyes revealed everything.

Three goals.

One operation.

Levi smiled inwardly.

This man was sharp. Ambitious. Uncomfortably pragmatic.

A perfect temporary ally.

"Since General Ross has spoken so clearly," Levi said lightly, "Vanderbuilt Technologies will fully support the operation."

Ross grinned victoriously.

The two glasses clinked together.

A silent agreement was sealed—both understanding they were using each other.

---

Ross Explains the Hulk Problem

Ross leaned forward, placing both hands on the table.

After the failed Brazil operation, Bruce Banner had vanished. Every trace of him disappeared. For months, Ross searched through informants, satellite feeds, and intelligence agencies.

A week ago, Bruce resurfaced—on the U.S.–Mexico border.

Banner had taken shelter in a poor, dusty town called Moses. Ross wanted to storm in with military force, but invading foreign territory openly was political suicide. America might act like a world power, but even they had limits.

So Ross wanted Levi to push Banner across the border.

If Levi's Modia Units forced Banner into U.S. soil…

Then Ross could unleash everything without consequences.

Levi listened quietly.

"A clever strategy," he thought.

After the meeting, Levi returned to Vanderbuilt Technologies and began the mission preparation. Hundreds of Modia Units were loaded onto transport aircraft. Izzy coordinated logistics. Breaker checked weapons. Yaz monitored the entire network.

Within hours, they flew secretly to Moses, landing under the cloak of stealth technology.

---

Levi Establishes His Temporary Base

Despite being a poor border town, Moses had a few luxury hotels—built for wealthy drug lords and businessmen who crossed the border quietly.

Levi booked the best suite and transformed it into a covert command center.

"Izzy," Levi said, "activate Satellite Zenith. Scan the entire region."

Izzy nodded. Her eyes glowed blue.

Within seconds, Satellite Zenith synced with her system.

A holographic map appeared, showing buildings, tunnels, heat signatures, gamma radiation readings, and energy fluctuations.

A single red dot glowed intensely.

Bruce Banner.

Gamma radiation from the accident had permanently altered his biology. That radiation served as a locator beacon.

Levi smiled calmly.

"Found."

He watched Banner through a zoomed surveillance feed as the scientist hurried through a trash-filled alley, unaware that he was already surrounded on all sides.

---

The Trap Begins

General Ross, after receiving Levi's transmission, mobilized hundreds of vehicles.

Humvees, tanks, rocket trucks—A thunderous army rolled toward the border.

The earth trembled.

Dust billowed into the sky.

The message was clear:

This time, we capture the Hulk. No matter what.

Meanwhile, Levi sent his Modia Units into position.

Under the moonlight, hundreds of Modia soldiers moved through alleyways, jumping over rooftops, hiding behind buildings, fanning out across the entire town. Their silver bodies glimmered as they shifted into formation, silent and precise.

Levi stood in an airborne command helicopter, hair blowing in the wind.

Izzy stood beside him, tablet in hand.

Breaker tightened his grip on his rifle, scanning the horizon nervously.

"Everything is in place," Izzy said.

Levi nodded.

"Good. Initiate operation."

---

Gunfire Breaks the Night

Crack!

A sniper shot shattered the silence.

Followed by—

RATATATATAT!

Gunfire flooded the dark streets like a metal hurricane. The building where Banner lived exploded as bullets tore through walls and windows.

Bruce Banner leaped from the second floor just as the room behind him collapsed in flames.

"Mr. President!" Izzy called. "Banner is fleeing east!"

"Spotlight on him," Levi ordered.

A helicopter above activated a powerful floodlight.

A blinding column of light slammed down on Banner.

"Damn—!" Banner shielded his face, overwhelmed.

Modia Units rushed from every direction like an army of metal zombies, firing continuously, their footsteps rhythmic and merciless.

Banner fled through narrow alleys, trying to use terrain he knew well—but the Modia Units were relentless, tireless, never stopping.

"Good," Levi murmured. "Push him south."

Two gunships opened fire.

Boom-boom-boom!

Cruise cannons bombarded the area around Banner, collapsing houses, blasting debris.

Banner was forced toward the border.

Izzy shouted from the helicopter:

"Mr. President! Banner is entering the United States!"

Ross, watching the broadcast from his own command center, couldn't contain his excitement.

"Incredible Modia Units! Their combat level rivals the SEALs!"

But he wasn't satisfied.

"Now—it's my turn."

He prepared to intercept Banner directly.

---

The Hulk Awakens

Just as Banner reached the border checkpoint, under continuous gunfire—

He heard nothing but his own heartbeat.

His vision blurred.

His hands trembled.

Then—

"ROOOAAAAR!!"

A monstrous roar shook the air. The sound alone silenced the gunfire. The Modia Units paused.

Banner transformed.

The Hulk emerged.

His shirt ripped apart.

His muscles expanded violently.

His skin turned radioactive green.

His eyes burned with rage.

Eight Modia Units charged at him.

The Hulk raised his massive arm—

BAM!!!

Two Modia Units were lifted like toys and smashed into several others.

Bullets bounced off Hulk's skin, creating sparks.

Izzy gasped. "Mr. President! Hulk's power is rising rapidly!"

"The angrier he gets," Levi said calmly, "the more powerful he becomes. His mind is slipping away—but we don't need to worry about that yet."

The Hulk roared again and leapt, smashing through the concrete border wall like it was made of paper.

He crashed into U.S. territory—right into Ross's encirclement.

Ross stared ahead as a shadow approached—a green monster tearing through military barriers like cardboard.

A helicopter passed overhead.

Hulk glared, eyes glowing red.

He leaped into the air—

And landed with a force that shook the earth.

Cracks spiderwebbed across the ground.

The Hulk Siege Battle had begun.
