Two days after the incident the night Ethan nearly attacked Arcane, Kyle ran into his coworker again at school since the previous day had been a weekend.
Actually, he'd intended to apologize the day before by going to Arcane's house. However, he felt hesitant to do so, so he decided to apologize at school when they met.
"Arcane," he called out, causing the red haired man to turn toward him.
Now his gaze seemed colder than usual, because he didn't want to be suspected of having a special relationship with Kyle, especially after being suspected of such a thing by his husband.
"What's up?" asked Arcane, his tone sounding more serious than his usual friendly self.
This was enough to make Kyle feel sad, as if he were being pushed away by him. But he could understand it after the misunderstanding that had occurred.
