That same afternoon, Julian was preparing dinner for himself and Luna. He made a simple meal because he didn't want to keep his daughter waiting, especially since his cooking skills weren't as good as Arcane's.
Luna, who had been watching television, went to the kitchen to join her father.
"Papa, where's Daddy Arcane? Why isn't he home yet?" she asked innocently while hugging her rabbit doll.
Julian, who was cooking at the time, immediately turned to his daughter and smiled.
"Daddy has extra work at school. He'll be home late tonight, so it'll just be the two of us for dinner tonight," he explained.
Still not understanding what kind of work Arcane had, Luna could only nod her head and then climb onto the dining table chair to wait for her dinner to be ready.
That night, it was just the two of them having dinner together while talking about the little things they usually did.
