Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

Emilia

Walking to the front door of the mansion felt like a marathon.

"I didn't sign up for this," I sighed.

A massive fountain stood proudly in the middle of the driveway—and nothing else, no flower pot, no hedges, no statue even. Just a few shiny, expensive-looking cars parked around it. This place was huge.

"Why is it so big?" I muttered. "This is such a waste of space. Why have all this floor if no one's even using it?"

The entrance sat on a steep incline. Halfway up, my calf muscle seized, I had to stop and catch my breath before I passed out.

"How much are they even paying for these tacos that I have to climb up a mountain just to deliver them?" I gasped, already regretting every decision that led me here.

Exercise is good, sure—but I got enough of it at the shop. I stood almost all day fixing orders and running deliveries, juggled school, and let's not even talk about the days I had more than one performance in one night.

That counts too, but how could I even complain? I love doing these things.

But I wasn't about to risk what little was left of my butt and boobs. They were my last remaining assets.

I reached back and gave my butt a soft squeeze, just to confirm it was still enough.

"…Barely," I sighed.

Finally, I got to the door.

"Ugh. We're here," I said, looking for a doorbell. There was none—just a giant, intimidating slab of wood staring at me like try knocking, peasant.

As I lifted my hand, I heard noises from inside.

"Shit. Someone's coming."

My bladder nearly gave up on me. I stood there, my hand hovering, when the noise came again.

"Wait—what?"

I covered my mouth, creeping closer to the window.

This was a reminder that rich people don't do normal. Rich people do… whatever this was.

I could hear a woman's voice loud and clear.

"Harder, baby—yes! Right there. Right there."

She went quiet, but I could still hear her breathing heavily from inside, while I stood frozen outside the door.

"Are they serious right now?" I muttered. "Couldn't they have waited five minutes? Just five?"

I slapped my forehead.

I still had their food in my hand.

"What do I even do?" I whispered. "I have places to be. I didn't drive like I was in Fast and Furious just to stand here while they finish… whatever this is."

I was definitely not getting paid enough for this.

I decided I'd knock, smile like I'd just arrived, and pretend I had no idea what was happening inside.

For a brief, humiliating moment, I wished someone could make me scream like that. My nipples hardened. I couldn't tell if my panties were already soaked, but it felt like everything down there had doubled in size.

Before I could stop myself, I leaned toward the open side window.

Just a peek.

I wanted proof that rich people truly weren't normal.

I squinted.

Nothing.

Not a single nipple, not even a butt split was in sight. What a waste of action.

"You shouldn't be sneaking around," I whispered to myself. "Have some dignity."

I did not have dignity.

I also hadn't had sex in a very long time. At this point, a man could sneeze in my direction and I'd be wet enough to water a cactus.

"Oh, Dio…"

I stepped away and called Lilia. She picked up on the first ring.

"Where are you?" she snapped.

I knew she was already waiting for me at the shop. If I didn't make it back in time, she needed a really good reason

"Aren't you done with that delivery?"

"No," I whispered. "They're… busy."

"Busy?"

"Like… busy busy. Come on. You know exactly what I mean."

"No way," she snorted.

"Yes way. I'm serious."

"You can't stay there all night," she said. "How long have they been at it?"

"I don't know—eight, maybe ten minutes."

"Wow. What is he? A tiger?" She laughed. "They should be done any moment now. Trust me. Ten minutes is a long time."

"Are you serious right now?" I asked, disappointed.

"What?" she said. "I've never had sex that long. Okay, if they go longer, just knock. I'm sure they can multitask."

"Thank you for nothing."

She laughed. "See you soon," and hung up.

I was done wasting time.

I marched back to the door like a soldier reporting for duty.

Good enough, the soundtrack had ended. Maybe Lilia was right.

I knocked quickly, before round two could begin.

There was no response.

Wait, did they fall asleep?

I knocked again, harder this time.

I heard footsteps. Then, it went quiet again.

"Are they going to open the door or not?" I muttered, already annoyed.

I knocked once more and leaned in, pressing my ear to the wood. I was seconds away from leaving the tacos on the ground and walking away.

Before I could decide, the door flew open.

I stumbled forward—landing straight into a very bare, very masculine chest.

"Oh no."

"I'm so sorry!" I stammered, backing away. "That wasn't supposed... I just—I was—"

Then I looked at him.

Caspita.

He stood there—tall, sculpted, unfairly handsome.

Now I understood why the woman inside couldn't hold it together.

I too, would've brought the roof down.

My brain completely shut off for a moment, and my body instantly refused to function. I just there stood still.

Kill me. Someone please kill me.

He was tall, beautiful, even. His eyes alone could've undone me.

He smiled, like he knew exactly what he was doing to me.

"No need to apologize," he said softly. "I'm sorry for startling you."

He had a towel wrapped low around his waist. His hair was wet, and water was still dripping down his chest.

Of course. He'd just gotten out of the shower.

Cooling off. Obviously.

"Are those for me?" he asked.

"Yes. Yes, they are." I handed him the boxes. His fingers brushed mine.

He lingered a moment longer than necessary.

"It smells amazing," he said.

"Yeah. Enjoy your dinner. Okay. Bye."

I turned and walked fast—too fast—back to my car. I drove off feeling stupid.

I imagined the tip he could've left and felt robbed.

All that effort for nothing.

I usually split tips—half for the shop, half for me. Aunt Gianna allowed it. Tonight, I got zero, nothing.

Rita's was right.

The special request customer was a hot guy after all.
