Seraphina Caldwell looked down at the remaining skewer of roasted meat and then raised her head to look at the back of Kaelan Hawthorne's neck.
She bit her lip, reached out gently, and tugged at the fur on his neck.
"Kaelan, open your mouth."
Kaelan paused in his steps, looking back with slight bewilderment.
He hesitated for a moment before slowly slowing down and obediently opening his mouth.
Seraphina tore the meat into small pieces and stuffed them into his mouth.
Kaelan chewed, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly.
Suddenly, he felt that this bite of meat was more fragrant than any piece he had ever roasted himself.
Not because of the seasoning, but because it was handed to him by her.
"If eating while running is inconvenient, slow down, you can eat while walking."
After saying this, she tore off another piece of meat and raised her hand to offer it to his mouth.
Sure enough, Kaelan slowed his pace.
She fed him a piece of fruit, and he opened his mouth to catch it.
