Chapter 1 that ass of a deity
Like most people, I wake up in the mornings, have a quick shower, if I have time grab something to eat and then head to work or school or something.
As I am in my early twenty's I do a bit of both.
I go to work on the weekends and I go to college on some of the weekdays, mainly Tuesday and Wednesday.
I am wearing a nice casual outfit, a pair of nice fresh new pair of white low-top shoes, some dark blue trousers, a white t-shirt with a picture of a random band, and my phone in my pocket.
I have medium-length hair that is brown in colour, the reason I have it at a medium length is because, well, my dad has shaven his head, so I need to appreciate the hair I have before it's too late, I have hazel eyes and decent features, nothing extraordinary though.
Like any normal day, I get on the bus and head to wherever my destination is, meet my friends or coworkers and just go about my day.
Like any normal day, the TV on the bus freaks out because they don't secure the wires properly, only for it to fix itself and display the normal ads and video of a disembodied voice saying.
"The world as you know it is over."
"The free warranty of this planet is over and now it's time for the test."
Ye… the normal TV stuff.
The world shook violently.
The tides split and reformed, causing tsunamis to appear across the entire world.
And some people.
Just popping out of existence.
I was one of them.
Now in an empty void, I look around.
There is a see-through panel that I am standing on, no smell, almost no sound except for my breathing and the taps of my shoes on this panel.
What I thought to be an empty void I now see is just extremely thick fog.
As I freaked out internally and externally about all the possibilities that have and are happening, like where are my dogs and my cats, were are my family, are they ok, are they dead… am I dead, did I get crushed, pummelled, shot, stabbed, did I have a heart attack from the stress, am I going to have another one?… probably stabbed I was in the uk after all.
As those thoughts ran through my head I saw the fog disappear and more platforms were around me, and like the platform I was on, they also had people on them.
And from what I can tell, I'm not the only one panicking.
Some way more than others.
Some were looking around, while others were crying, hyperventilating or just curled up in a ball, I also saw someone ugly crying, like really ugly crying… I'm not blaming them though, I could see myself doing that soon.
Before I could though, a giant mannequin appeared in the void.
It towers over us like we were ants in front of a skyscraper.
And then it spoke.
Its voice booming all around me, and I guess the others as well.
I can't tell if it's male or female though, it seems to be a mix of both.
"Hello humans, you lot are the lucky ones who get to live in another world."
"Sadly I forgot what it was called but you will be going there soon."
"Um, ah right you lot will be given a basic rundown of what the world is like and what you lot are meant to be doing in said world."
"You will also be given a system to assist you in your endeavours."
"Now I hope you enjoy your trip there and good luck, you might need it."
Right as the mannequin finished speaking the platforms everyone was standing on just started to dissolve right under us.
Doing my best to stay on the remaining platform, I moved and jumped around.
Doing this for around 10 seconds before there was nothing left.
Everyone fell.
While almost everyone screamed, including me a video player appeared in front of my face.
It automatically played.
A generic female voice filled my ears.
"The world you are entering is filled with monsters, if you are seeing this video then you have been chosen to save the world from the evil demon lord or lady who is trying to take over this world and make it there own, the reason for this is so they can ascend and become a demon king or queen, something that no one want to deal with as they are at minimum a planetary threat if that comes to be.
You will be given a system and a random bloodline, this bloodline will provide you with unique powers and abilities if you can evolve it.
There is also something called magic and aura, magic is… well magic and aura is well… aura.
There are two powers that everything can use, they will help you get stronger, but do not try learning both at the same time as if you do, the two powers will clash and destroy your body from within.
But don't get the wrong idea you can use both, you just need to have one a lot higher in mastery than the other or you will, die.
The system will guide you and provide you with the ability to grow stronger.
The place you are being sent to is called the Dragon School, where you will learn how to fight, use your abilities and learn all you need to survive and thrive in this world.
Good luck hero".
Before I could complain, everything went black.
The first thing I felt was a skull-splitting migraine, jolting me up instantly as I tried to hiss away the pain ever so slightly, sadly, to no avail.
As I look around, all I can see is burned soil and charred trees.
All I can smell is this ranside sulfur and ash.
" I know I'm not an expert but this doesn't look like a school to me, it looks like a fucking desert," I say to no one.
After looking a bit more and still only finding dirt and trees another video player pops up in front of my face.
"Ah, finally it's working… so as you can hopefully see you're not in the right place… apparently I let an unfinished system into the pool and you got hit with it, so I had to though you into a random mini dimension for safe keeping… as.. well I can't let other deities find out I messed up.
If you're wondering why I didn't just kill you… Well, I tried but apparently heroes are protected while in transport so I couldn't actually harm you and as you haven't actually arrived in the proper place… being of higher power cannot hurt you so I have to dump you here until you die of whatever kills you."
I was left speechless for a whole 10 seconds before with as much venom as I could" FUCK YOU TOO"
"Well at least we're on the same page, have fun, while you can, cya."
They waved and the video turned off.
"That ass of a fucking deity what the hell is this treatment, it tells me the world I used to live in has lost its warranty and then promises me a second chance just to try and KILL ME?! AND FAIL!"

Hello I know I keep on writing and then disappearing then writing and rearing stuff just to disappear again but I feel like writing once more I hope I can actually keep up with it this time :/ Also, I hope you enjoy this story I know it's the first chapter and is still getting started up I do apologise :/
Anyway I hope I don't fumble this writing biz I have right now and that I don't overextend what this novel has in it… also this is a rewrite of the first novel I wrote but also complete different so… ye I might reread thst to get a basic idea of what I might want to happen in the next couple of chapters, I hope you enjoy it and I hope you lot can provide me with way of improving my story and writing as I haven' done it in a while and feel like I'm quite bad at it once again.
