Scarlett's POV
I am slowly drifting away from this madness. I'm tired of it all and it's been so stressful working here. I wish that I can just leave this godforsaken place.
I am not alone in the dressing room. Numerous girls surrounded me and we were all getting dressed for the pole dance, when a voice made us all turn towards the door
"I want you girls to come and follow me to the meeting room. The boss just sent his men for an important announcement. You all need to be there." Alexa, the woman in charge of us, spoke to me. She has had this constant scowl on her face since Noel died.
"Okay, Alexa." We chorused and she gave us a weird look. It's like something big is happening.
We looked at each other and followed a single file to the meeting room. It was packed with huge men dressed nicely already.
"I was sent here by the Viper and would like you people to be informed that a new manager has been employed today." An unfamiliar man spoke with so much authority.
