Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Exposing the Identity

Chapter 3: Exposing the Identity

Griffin's house, Stewie's bedroom.

Following Stewie into this ordinary nursery, Chris looked around curiously.

In the cartoon, Chris knew that this ordinary room hid many secrets.

Just like Doc Brown's DeLorean and Batman's Batcave, Stewie Griffin also had his own secret base.

As Stewie activated the mechanism, a doorway opened in the wall, and then this ordinary room revealed a highly futuristic secret base.

Looking at the incredible spatial expansion technology before him, Chris chose not to question how it was possible, but simply followed Stewie's footsteps inside.

After all, in such a nonsensical cartoon world, nothing was surprising.

As Chris stepped into Stewie's secret base, the original entrance closed again, and the room reverted to an ordinary nursery.

The first thing Stewie did upon entering his secret base was not to rush into asking Chris what he knew.

He unhurriedly walked to his monitoring platform and sat on his small stool.

As the stool rose to Chris's height, Stewie pressed a button on the platform, then gave a sinister smile.

He shouted, "Alright, tubby! Time to spill the beans! Tell me your origin!"

Immediately, large and small rifles, shotguns, and various infrared targeting lasers appeared around Chris.

"Woah, woah! What kind of tech is this? How are all these things packed together? Can they actually still fire normally?"

Looking at the guns surrounding him, Chris wasn't alarmed; he examined the array of weapons like a kid in a candy store.

He even asked Stewie with genuine interest.

Seeing Chris's reaction, Stewie sighed slightly, feeling a bit disappointed, then pressed the button again, and these weapons were magically retracted.

"It seems you still possess some of my brother's traits; still as much of an idiot as ever!

But I still hope you can be rational and tell me what exactly you are. Are you from heaven or hell, or some other chaotic dimension?"

When Stewie put away the weapons, Chris's face instinctively showed a look of regret.

But then came the fear; the transplanted soul still couldn't accept his body's carefree personality.

It seemed Chris's body's instincts still held some influence, as he had genuinely wanted to understand the principles behind these contraptions.

He had seen that the barrels of several guns were connected without magazines or firing mechanisms, just like the sudden appearance of numerous firearms in classic Looney Tunes cartoons.

However, hearing Stewie's question, Chris's expression froze. What was that about?

Heaven? Hell? Did this world have such things?

He recalled the transplanted memories and found that this world actually seemed to have such entities.

God seemed to have made an appearance, but the God of this world also seemed pretty screwed up.

Stewie was clearly treating him as some mysterious entity of this world, believing that something had taken over Chris's body.

Thinking of this, Chris understood Stewie's general assumption.

He said seriously, "None of the above. I'm a transmigrator. I don't know if your world's fiction has developed similar concepts. If not, you can understand it as... someone from another dimension who ended up in your brother's body."

Facing Chris's honest answer, a strange look flashed across Stewie's face.

He really didn't expect this unknown entity to tell the truth.

Clearly, the demons he had encountered before weren't so honest; they not only tried to con his soul with sweet talk but also constantly made various sneaky moves.

Even those creatures who called themselves angels were all insufferably arrogant.

None of them were like this guy.

Like... simple? Or stupid?

Whatever!

Stewie thought indifferently, what a waste of all the preparations he had made, and all the energy he had expended.

Heaven knows how hard he had to work to complete these preparations.

But he didn't expect this guy to be so cooperative!

However, despite thinking this, Stewie wouldn't believe a one-sided story; he still had to verify.

Turning to open his monitoring system, he found no signs of Chris lying, and only then did Stewie begin to search for the information Chris had mentioned.

"Hmm! Let me see... a transmigrator, right? I remember cataloging relevant information in the multiverse database!"

Chris watched Stewie hunched over an instrument panel he didn't understand, muttering incredibly informative words.

Considering how to save his own life, Chris was about to walk over and see what Stewie was doing.

But as soon as he lifted his bulky body, Chris saw the guns appear instantly around him, then aim at him again.

At this moment, Stewie's crisp baby voice slowly came, "Ah, ah, ah! Please don't move until I confirm your identity, okay? I don't want to cause any unnecessary misunderstandings and then damage my brother's body; that would leave him without a proper burial!"

Looking at the cold machine guns emitting a threatening hum around him, Chris nervously swallowed, then raised his hands to show he meant no harm, and quietly lowered his raised right foot.

Stewie, however, acted as if nothing had happened; after giving the warning, he continued to lean over and search, but this time he didn't retract the weapons.

Time slowly passed until Chris's nervous sweat accumulated into a puddle on the floor, and only then did Stewie breathe a sigh of relief.

"Aha, finally found it!"

The tiny body erupted with astonishing strength, slamming his hands on the metal control panel with a thunderous bang, startling Chris into breaking out in a fresh wave of sweat.

"Reincarnators, System Space, Infinite Loops... Oh, here's the one!

Transmigrators, temporal travelers from other worlds, generally divided into body transmigration and soul transmigration, usually possess extremely high spatio-temporal affinity, capable of easily traveling to parallel universes, and even other multiverses."

Stewie's small hand slowly slid across the holographic projection, but the information displayed on it once again made the transmigrator tremble with fear.

How was this little genius even more advanced than he appeared in the cartoon!

How did he even know information about things like System Spaces? Could this be a world modified by some cosmic entity?

Or did Family Guy just gain these elements after I transmigrated?

The transplanted consciousness within Chris's body became restless, and the machine constantly monitoring the soul in the body sounded an alarm at that exact moment, which also startled Stewie, who was concentrating on checking the information.

The football-shaped head glanced sideways at the transmigrator, then revealed a mischievous smile.

However, to the transmigrator, the smile looked somewhat menacing, like a mob boss about to make an offer you can't refuse.

But this was clearly something Stewie couldn't know.

The soul monitoring instrument evidently lacked the function to analyze conscious fluctuations, so Stewie guided the high stool over to Chris, smiled, and patted Chris's shoulder, saying, "Let's talk about the rent for you using my brother's body, shall we? Trust me, I'll give you a fair price!"

Seeing this little guy imitating the Godfather, the transmigrator cooperatively played along.

"Of course, Don Stewie!"

He lifted Stewie's right hand that was patting his shoulder, lowered his head, and was about to kiss it in classic mafia fashion.

But before Chris's mouth could touch him, Stewie pulled back his right hand as if he had been electrocuted, then vigorously shook it, as if it had been contaminated with something disgusting.

"Woah! You really don't have to commit to the bit that much!"
