Chapter 1 - Prologue "The Protector's Birth"

In a pristine, white laboratory filled with humming machinery, Otto Apocalypse observes a containment chamber. Inside, a young boy floats suspended in liquid, his hair silver-white, his expression calm but unnatural. Panels flash with DNA sequences: Kevin Kaslana, Kallen, Sieg, and Cecilia — all integrated into a single being.

Otto Apocalypse:

"Anti-Kevin Kaslana… perfected."

The boy opens his eyes. A soft blue glow emanates from them, but no human warmth has yet reached him.

Kael (internal narration):

"I was not born. I was engineered.

My existence was not a miracle… but a calculation.

I had no destiny. Only a purpose: to be a weapon."

But in his reflection, the boy's eyes flickered with something Otto hadn't foreseen — curiosity. A will of his own.

Otto's curiosity demanded proof. He released Kael into the outside world — alone, weaponless, and hunted by the Honkai.

Kael fought endlessly. Each battle tore him apart, but also rebuilt him. His body learned — evolving, adapting, integrating even the energies that sought to consume him.

Kael (narration):

"Pain taught me endurance.

Fear taught me instinct.

Every failure taught me to survive."

He became something Otto could never control — a lifeform that grew by experience.

One day, he collapsed outside the gates of St. Freya Academy.

Theresa Apocalypse found him — half-dead, but alive.

Theresa:

"He's… not a monster. He's a boy who's lost his way."

She gave him food, shelter, and a name — Kael Kaslana.

At St. Freya, for the first time, Kael heard laughter echo in the halls.

Kiana Kaslana

Kiana barreled into him during training, both tumbling to the ground.

Kiana:

"Hehe! Didn't think another Kaslana would show up here!"

Kael blinked, confused — then smiled faintly.

Kael (narration):

"She was light itself — reckless, bright, and utterly alive.

She reminded me what it meant to live without purpose."

Raiden Mei

Mei tutored him when he struggled in theory classes.

Mei:

"You don't have to know everything, Kael. Just… keep trying."

Kael (narration):

"She taught me patience — not tactical, but gentle."

Bronya Zaychik

Bronya was wary at first — cold, logical. But when Kael repaired her mecha drone after class, her distant expression softened.

Bronya:

"You're… not inefficient. Acceptable ally."

Kael (smiling faintly):

"I'll take that as high praise."

Kael (narration):

"She showed me that trust isn't given… it's earned."

Fu Hua:

"You hold your weapon like a warrior who fears his own strength."

Kael:

"Because I do."

Fu Hua:

"Then learn not to. Strength used to protect is never shameful."

Those words stayed with him forever.

Through Theresa, Kael was introduced to two figures who would become his mentors — Welt Yang and Murata Himeko.

Welt, posing as a history teacher, recognized something familiar in the boy — the faint pulse of Imaginary energy.

Welt Yang:

"Your eyes… they see more than this world, don't they?"

Under Welt's guidance, Kael learned precision, logic, and control. The man even tried passing the Herrscher Core of Reason to him once — though it left Kael's body after two minutes.

Welt (amazed):

"It rejected you… and yet, your body adapted to its power."

Kael (calmly):

"I didn't take it. I learned from it."

Without realizing it, Kael had copied the Authority of Reason, gaining the ability to create and manipulate constructs of Imaginary origin.

Under Himeko, he learned something else entirely.

Himeko:

"You think too much, Kael. Sometimes, saving people isn't about logic.

It's about heart."

Kael (smiling):

"Heart… that's something I'm still learning."

He trained with Himeko's relentless warmth guiding him — his first true teacher in emotion. Through her, he learned courage, compassion, and sacrifice.

The Sea of Quanta stretched infinitely in every direction — shards of broken worlds adrift in an endless silver ocean. Gravity bent, light scattered like glass. In the middle of that chaos, two figures emerged from a collapsing wormhole: Welt Yang and the boy he'd been looking after Kael Kaslana.

Kael (narrating) :

"I met the man I was made to kill, and he spared me.

In that defeat, I learned something Otto never could manufacture —

respect… and the desire to grow stronger not for hate, but for hope."

When his powers reached maturity, Kael was invited into the Elysian Realm — a sanctuary of heroes from humanity's past.

He met Elysia, who greeted him with a radiant smile.

Elysia:

"A new face? Oh my~ another pretty boy with secrets in his eyes."

He was nervous — awkward even — but she treated him kindly.

Kael (narration):

"She called me beautiful, but she was the one who shone like a star.

I didn't understand love then… only that I wanted to protect her smile."

He trained with the Thirteen Flame-Chasers, learning not just power, but identity.

Mobius:

"A body that adapts endlessly? Fascinating."

Kalpas:

"Heh. Let's see how long you last against me!"

Each encounter refined him.

Each defeat taught him humility.

Each friendship etched a new emotion into his soul.

Kael (narrating) :

"He never got to learn about the truth of the Thirteen people he met

Until much later when the girl who bore the Origin inform him

He learn how hurt a human heart can feel."

confrontation with Kevin Kaslana.

The world trembled as they fought — the frozen might of Kevin against the evolving will of Kael.

Kevin:

"You carry my burden… yet fight to defy it."

Kael:

"I carry not your curse, but your hope."

Their clash split the sky, but Kael's resolve endured. When the battle ended, Kevin turned away — silent approval in his eyes.

Kael (narration):

"He was everything I was built to destroy.

But he became the reason I fought to protect."

After a long time Welt Yang with Void Archive and Kael Kaslana Travel to another Universe to save the variant of his Student that he regret losing.

the Astral Express.

There, he found a new family among the stars.

March 7th:

"Big Bro Kael! Look! Another planet! Let's go!"

Kael (sighing, smiling):

"March, that's a black hole."

March:

"...Oh."

He laughed — genuinely, freely.

Kael (narration):

"She was the little sister I never had — bright, curious, and reckless.

And Dan Heng… the brother I can rely on if the two was being too much."

Dan Heng:

"You're reckless, Kael."

Kael:

"And you're too calm. That's why we work."

They fought side by side — protecting each other, exploring worlds, and seeking truth beyond the stars

Kael narrating:

Stelle the little sister that I come to love like march but I can't bear to come closer. "

Kael:" Stelle I'm telling you throw those trash can and wash up!!! you stink..."

Stelle:" I won't forgive for separating me from my true love. "

On the planet Amphoreus, Kael encountered echoes of his past — variants of the Flame-Chasers, reborn in another reality.

Elysia (variant):

"You've come far, haven't you, Kael? The stars remember you."

He trained with them once more, refining his control over Imaginary and Honkai energy — achieving a balance that transcended human limits.

There, he became whole.

During a mission to stabilize an Imaginary distortion, Kael and Welt faced an uncontrollable surge.

Welt:

"Kael! The rift—!"

He face the other strongest being he faced before Zephyro their class cause a rift but in the end it end with both losing their life.

Being alive as a Heroic Spirit he can't help but want to protect again..

Kael: "Servant Caster, Here to Answer your Call, I ask you Are you my Master?."
