The next day, evening.
Olessia was worried sick. Kaive hadn't been sleeping well, and he barely ate anymore. Each time she saw him, his face looked thinner, his eyes duller. The thought refused to leave her mind. By today's evening, she couldn't take it anymore.
She decided to properly check up on him.
When she got to his room, Dino opened the door for her immediately. He didn't ask what she wanted, unlike his usual self. He only stepped aside silently, letting her in.
She entered the room fully this time and closed the door behind her. Kaive sat on the chair in front of the wooden table, a charcoal stick moving slowly across the paper. Several finished drawings lay scattered beside him, none of them finished properly.
He had already sensed her presence, yet he didn't turn.
"What are you drawing?" she asked softly as she walked closer to him.
