Hearing Dorja's words, Kaive reacted instantly. He reached for Olessia's hands, pulling her back toward him in a protective hold.
"Your Royalty Kaive," Dino said quickly, stepping forward. "Please stay back from the building."
Kaive did not answer at once. His grip tightened slightly before he turned to Olessia.
"Step back, Olessia," he said firmly.
She moved back as instructed, putting a small distance between herself and the ruins.
Kaive then faced the burned structure again, his expression unreadable, while Dorja stood frozen, her warning still echoing in their ears .
"What do you mean?" Olessia asked, her brows drawing together. "How is it possible that if someone enters, they can't come out?"
Dorja hesitated before answering.
"No one ever returns once they step inside," she said quietly. "That building doesn't let people leave."
"Why?" Olessia asked, needing to know what the reason was.
