Hearing the name Bellamy, Olessia's heart lurched violently because Bellamy is her family name.
She turned to Aturah slowly, her face carefully composed, though her pulse thundered in her ears.
"What did you just say?" Olessia asked, looking directly at Aturah.
Maybe she hadn't heard Aturah well. Her brows drawing together, as the words replayed in her mind, refusing to settle. The pull to return to her own time had been weighing her down, urging her to hear what she wanted instead of what was said.
Aturah's eyes remained fixed on the necklace pendant. There was no doubt in her gaze, she knew what she was seeing. Slowly, she lifted her eyes from the pendant to Olessia's face.
