"What do you mean you want her to talk by any means?" Kaive asked.
"It's time she finally admits why she's here," Ziven said.
Olessia shook her head. She had no purpose in Aurethia, and that was why she kept searching for a way out. Ziven's hatred sat on her even though she had done nothing to earn it.
Kaive moved a little closer. "Olessia is my connect… which makes us destined halves. How is that hard for you to understand?" he said, trying his best to hide his frustration.
"An outsider can never be the woman you'll love. I do not accept her," Ziven said.
"She's not yours to accept. I've accepted her," Kaive replied, meeting his stare. "And just because Father didn't accept Lady Eirene as your connect doesn't mean you should throw your anger at us."
