There were still many white dots along the way, hidden under completely collapsed ruins. Looking at the location of another blue dot they were approaching, Ed looked up. A faint light was there, but it wasn't the blue outline he sought. Instead, it was a pale, eerie green.
Seeing this color, Ed frowned. The skulls of skeletons wouldn't contain such bright soul fire. This color reminded him of the evil spirit they'd encountered on the previous island. He couldn't help but stop and pull the Locket from his thigh.
Watching Ed's actions, Elena, walking behind, clenched her fists.
"That light seems to emanate from an evil spirit. Be careful; it can conceal itself to attack."
"Don't worry, I'm prepared," Elena said, opening her palms to reveal two white strips of cloth etched with pale gold patterns. She used them to bind her fists. As a faint fluorescent light touched them, the gold patterns emitted specks of light. She clenched her fists and shook them at Ed.
