Born into the royal family would have being so people's dream but to Emily it like a curse. My mother was just an ordinary maid that came from a poor background who had the king's eye because of her unparalleled beauty.
The king , king Herod was on a tour to the small village were my mother stays.that was we're they saw each other,he laid different proposal to my mum to be his concubine but she refused because she has a lover already
Whom she is about to wed.the king angered by her constant rejection forced himself on her (had sex with her or raped her),which lead to my birth.
My mother having known that she was pregnant could no longer marry the love of her life,so she decided to raise me.
My existence came to light to the queen, queen aira who went mad with jealousy and hatred and order that my mother should be killed ( well secretly)and i should be bought to the palace to come and live with the process of since i am her husband's child, i am her child so she will take good care of me in the palace with my sisters and my brother ( her two daughters and her son).
Of course my grandparents were reluntants to let me go but in the face of power and authority who are they?
Years of living in the palace like a servant for others.my eldest step sister Roselle is 25 years old and unmarried,of course nobody is willing to marry her because of her behavior.

Ella my second step sister is 22 years old with the same problem of having pride and a rude behaviour.also unmarried.
Prince Ryan 20 years old the only son of the king is the only one that treats me well like a human and also stand for me when his sisters or the servants are bullying me.
I was scrubbing the floor of the first princess bathroom before i received the order to appear at the dinning room.i was surprised because i was never called to eat with them not even when father is at home (well not that he cares for me).i left the brush and was contemplating whether or not i should go like that because my dress is almost drain with water.
"May i change my dress before seeing the king, because the....
I haven't even said it finish before i was caught off by the servants who was sent to take me
" Ohhh" she said with sacram.
"So the royals to wait for you ?" She said with the air of arrogance.
"You should be lucky that you are being called by the royals to join them for breakfast" she said.
"But isn't it disrespectful to dress like this in front of the....
" Oh just shut up you peasants and stop wasting my time" she bellowed.
Well i shouldn't have ask her i thought, everybody knows Martha to be proud because she is princess Roselle favorite maid.coupled with the fact that the princess doesn't like me, Martha finds joy in humiliating me.
We made our way through the corridors which lead to the dinning room where the royals are waiting for me, which came as a surprise for me.when we reached the table which is capable of occupying 15 people the queen said with a disgusted look on her face while scanning me from head to toe
" And why were you late"
Before i could reply Ella said " she is feeling too big of herself "
I sigh
"Is that true?" The queen asked
" No queen mother " i said i know it won't change anything but i still have to say something to not look disrespectful.
Ella was just about to talk when father talked
"Enough", Emily have your sit " he said in a cold voice.
I made by way to sit ,of course far away from the royal family,not without the queen and daughters sending me disgusted and hateful look.
" Sit closer" Ryan my step brother said whom i smiled warmly to.
"Ryan" rose said,she was about to say something when father say again" enough let eat"
I picked the cutlery to eat when Ella said with mocking laughter
" Can you even use it" which i simply ignored her.
"Ella " Ryan snapped
"What, i am just stating the truth" she said.
Well right in their front with a surprise look on their faces was when i took the cutlery and started eating gracefully without looking at them.
"What!, Who taught you that !!" Ella bellowed
" Ella" queen mother said trying to caution her while looking at my father whose face was clearly displeased with the Constant interruption.
Half way into the meal,father put down his cultery and cleared his throat to gain everyone attention.
"There is a marriage proposal for one of the princesses from the north in Daraec kingdom"he said
" Isn't that the rumoured dragon kingdom?" Queen mother asked
" Yes" father replied." And it has been accepted" he continued
" Bu..t wh..y" queen mother asked
" Why what!? Father asked annoyed that she keeps asking questions.
"Why would you accept their proposal for chirst sake. How could you bear to send one of the princess to their place.we are just mere human beings" she continues
" I can't allow you to send my two daughters to the midst of beasts" she said
" Oh just shut up and let me talk!!" Father shouted.
Queen aira quickly shut up, realising that she has angered her husband.
" Like i said, it has been accepted, well is it not like we can reject them" he added.
" Father is the marriage proposal for me" . first princess Roselle asked with a sweet smile.
" Yes father,is it for me" Ella chimed only to receive an angry and jealous glare from her sister.
